    McKillican, Gladys Winkler

    Passed away suddenly in the presence of the Lord on August 28, 2013 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre with her family by her side. Gladys Winkler McKillican in her 91st year. Beloved wife of Rev. Donald McKillican.

    Predeceased by her former husband Harry Watts of Markham. Dear mother of Gordon (Sue Anne) Watts of Little Britain, Ontario. Loved grandmother of Genni (Andrew) Epp, James (Sarah) Watts, Joel and Jonathan Watts. Great grandmother of Olivia, Alexander and Hudson Epp. Much loved by Kathy, Glen, Ward and Larissa and Norman and Sharon Hollinger. Loved sister-in-law of Marie, Bernal and Marjorie. Predeceased by her parents Gordon Hollinger and Olivia Winkler. Gladys was a dedicated volunteer at the Grove Park Home for 15 years and a faithful secretary to the WMS of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church for 20 years. Her whole life was devoted to the Christian Faith.

    Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie (705-721-9921) from 2: 00 - 4: 00 p.m. and 7: 00 - 9: 00 p.m. on Thursday September 5, 2013. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 11: 00 a.m. Reception to follow. An interment will take at Barrie Union Cemetery following the reception.
