    MRS. LEVINNA ROBERTSON

    Mrs. Levinna Robertson, 88, of 34 William St., Elmira, died Saturday, Oct. 24, after a lengthy illness.

    Widow of the late David Robertson who died in 1944, she was born Jan. 31, 1871, at Floradale. Mrs. Robertson was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Strome. She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, the Ladies Aid and the Women's Missionary Society of the church.

    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clayton (Ella) Playford of Elmira and Mrs. Douglas (Lydella) Stevenson of Simcoe; two sisters, Mrs. Andrew Schwindt of Salem and Miss Mae Strome of Cleveland; a brother, Erwin of Englefeld, Sask.; four grand-children and 11 great-grandchildren.

    The body rested at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira where service was conducted in the chapel Tuesday at 2: 30 p.m. Burial was in the Elmira Cemetery. Rev. J. W. Siebert officiated.

    Playford, Ella M. - Peacefully, on Thursday, Feb. 10, 1994, at Heritage House, St. Jacobs, Ella (Robertson) Playford, in her 96th year, formerly of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Clayton Playford (1951). Dear mother of Ruth Price of Waterloo, Robert and Ruth Playford of Elmira. Fondly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one son, Liddell; one grandson, Wayne; one sister, Lydetta. Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, where the family will receive friends this evening (Friday) from 7-9 pm. At 9 am Saturday transfer will be made to Trinity United Church, Elmira for funersl service at 11 am, with The Rev. J.D. Kellough and Rev. Willis Hunking officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.

    BAUMAN, Janet Delores (nee Playford) In her 77th year, Janet went to her Heavenly Home on November 8, 2014, at home, surrounded by her family, after a short encounter with cancer. She leaves behind Clare, her beloved and dear husband of 52 years. A loving mother of four children, Jay (Janet) of Orillia; Sara (Robin) of Puslinch Lake; Troy of Stouffville; and Meri Lou (Peter) of Kitchener. A dear grandmother of 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother David (Carolyn) Playford, and sisters Ruthanne Playford and Karen Lehnen. Predeceased by her parents Liddell and Vivian (Lutz) Playford, and brother-in-law Richard Lehnen. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church (3849 King St. E., Kitchener, ON) on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, from 12: 45-1: 45 p.m. Celebration of her life at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church will follow at 2: 00 p.m. Rev.
