At K-W Hospital, on Tuesday, March 20, 1991, following a brief illness, Hilda E. Schafer (nee Schierholtz), age 96 years, of 514 Lancaster St. W., Kitchener.

Mrs. Schafer was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Bridgeport), for over 50 years.

Beloved wife of the late Henry Schafer, who predeceased her February 23, 1978. Dear mother of Elmer and Lloyd, both at home, Arno and his wife Helen of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Murray, Brenda and Mary.

Predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth Schierholtz and one brother, Oscar Schierholtz.

Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 821 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 p.m., today (Wednesday), continuing until the funeral and committal service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, on Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. Ralph Auras officiating. Interment St. James Lutheran cemetery, Elmira.
