SCHAEFER, Miss Lizzie -- On Sunday, Feb. 20, 1983, at Elmira Nursing Home, Lizzie Schaefer, in her 96th year.

Daughter of the late John Schaefer and Louise Umbach. Lizzie was born in North Woolwich and had been resident of Elmira district all her life, the last 12 years at the nursing home. She had been employed at the Elmira Rubber Factory and also at Savage Shoes Limited.

Dear sister of Harold Schaefer and Mrs. Elmer (Esther) Ogram, both of Elmira. Fondly remembered by a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira after 7 p.m. today until Wednesday at noon, when removal will be made to Trinity United Church for funeral service at 3 p.m. Interment Elmira Union Cemetery.
