    MRS. GEORGE RAHN

    The death of Mrs. George Rahn, 83 Euchlid Avenue, Waterloo, occurred at her home this morning in her 47th year. Death was due to a heart attack. Mrs. Rahn was born in Heidelberg and had been a resident of Waterloo for the past 27[?] years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.

    She is survived by her husband, two sons Williard[sic] and Harold and one daughter, Ruby at home, three sisters Mrs. Philip Kreutzweiser of Waterloo, Mrs. George Heimpel of Heidelberg and Mrs. Milton Seifert of Neustadt, and two brothers, Milton Peppler, Waterloo and Percy Peppler, Heidelberg.

    The funeral will be held Friday at 2:00 from the residence to St. John's Lutheran church for service at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will take place at Mount Hope cemetery.

    DEATH OF CHILD IN WATERLOO

    The nineteen months old son Wilfrid, of Mr. and Mrs. George Rahn, Menno Street, died at five o'clock yesterday morning, death being due to pneumonia. The demise of the lad which is the only child of the bereaved parents is regretted. The funeral will be held at 1: 30 on Wednesday afternoon at the residence, thence to St. John's Church and Mount Hope Cemetery.

    Ruby Shilling

    Ruby passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, age 87.

    Ruby was a faithful and lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Ruby enjoyed many years working as the Secretary at Centennial Public School in Waterloo. In her retirement she enjoyed travelling, socializing, bridge clubs, the "Super Seniors" and aqua fit classes.

    Ruby was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Shilling in 1998. She was a proud and loving mother of her son Michael and wife Rosemarie of Kitchener, and daughter Laurie Lessard and husband Daniel of Waterloo. Ruby loved and took great delight in her grandchildren: David (Emma), Jonathan (Lisa), Andrew and Lindsay; and great-grandson Thomas.

    Mrs. Shilling's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Doug Kranz officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Private Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
