    KASTER, Mrs. Norman (Edith)

    On Sunday, July 4, 1982, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, the former Edith Shirk, in her 88th year, of RR 2, Petersburg.

    Survived by her children, Irene (Mrs. James Cressman) of RR 2, Petersburg, Mary (Mrs. Ronald Sweeney) of RR 4, Stratford, Weston of RR 2, Petersburg, Stewart and his wife Grace of Kincardine and Erma Toman of New Dundee; her 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

    Predeceased by her husband, Norman in 1968; her sister, Frances Pipher; her father, John Shirk and her mother, the former Emma Forster.

    Mrs. Kaster was a member of the United Brethren in Christ Church, New Dundee and the WMA, of which she was a past president.

    Friends called at the Ratz-Bechtel funeral home, Kitchener until Wed. Then to United Brethren in Christ church, New Dundee for funeral service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Interment in Rosebank cemetery.

    CRESSMAN, Douglas - It is with deep regret that Doug's family announces his passing on September 24, 2009. His wife, Barb, was always and forever there. Missing his love and support are his wife, Barb; daughter, Jocelyn; special son-in-law to Jean and Eunice Garissere; his siblings, Reg (Kate), Dale, Edythe (Paul Anderson), Jay (Heather), Joan (Gary Burkitt); nieces and nephews, Matthew, Amy, Mark, Sarah, Derrick, TeAnna, Heather, Mandy, Zachary, Connor, Krista, Renee, and Dana; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Irene; and his first wife, Sheila. At the time of his passing, Doug was the Chief Executive Officer for Trout Unlimited Canada, headquartered in Calgary. His passions in life were hunting (especially with his English setters), fishing, promoting conservation, raising standard bred race horses, and travel.
