    Manasseh Gingrich

    The sudden death of Manasseh Gingrich, R.R. 1, Waterloo, occurred at his home Monday morning at the age of 56 years. Mr. Gingrich was a lifelong resident of Waterloo Township. He had been in ill health for a short time.

    Surviving are his wife; two sons, Herbert and Newton; two daughters, Naomi and Mary Ann; three sisters, Mrs. Addison Snider, Elmira, and Mrs. Amos Gingrich and Mrs. David Snyder, Waterloo and one brother, Freeman, of St. Jacobs.

    The funeral will be held at the residence Thursday at 2 p.m., thence to St. Jacobs Mennonite Church. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel, Elmira, until 5 p.m. Wednesday.

    Gingrich.- Herbert, son of the late Manasseh and Rebecca Gingrich, was born at Waterloo, Ont, Aug. 21, 1923; died at his home at Milverton, Ont., from a heart attack, May 9, 1969; aged 45 y. 8 m. 18 d. On Apr. 15, 1950, he was married to Wilma Clemmer, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Murray), one brother (Newton), and 2 sisters (Naomi and Mary Ann-Mrs. Lloyd Metzger). He was a member of the Erb Street Church, where funeral services were held May 12, with J. B. Martin and Milton Schwartzentruber officiating.

    After a prolonged illness with diabetes and kidney disease, Mary Ann died peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Wednesday, November 17, 2004, in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Lloyd to whom she was married to for 54 years. Dear mother of Bruce and Camille Metzger of Coquitlam, BC, Jim and Susan Metzger of St. Clements, Ross Metzger of Vancouver, BC, Brian Metzger of Cambridge, Sharon and Bruce Snyder of Waterloo and Myrna Metzger and John Anderson of Kitchener. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Jamie, Meg, Ben, Kirk and Kyle, sister-in-law of Wilma Gingrich and the Metzger family. She was predeceased by her parents, Rebecca ....
