    Schultz, Samuel L., son of Menno and Elizabeth (Litwiller) Schultz, was born in Perth Co., Ont., Feb. 26, 1883; died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sam N. Schultz, June 14, 1966; aged 83 y. 3 m. 19 d. On Jan. 18, 1910, he was married to Annie Leis, who died Jan. 22, 1964. Surviving are one daughter (Beatrice - Mrs. Sam N. Schultz), 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Seven brothers and 3 sisters predeceased him. He was ordained as a minister at Maple View, near Wellesley, Ont., on June 5, 1938, and served as bishop from Dec. 21, 1941, to October 14, 1956. He also served as moderator of the Ontario A.M. Conference. Funeral services were conducted at the Maple View Chuch, June 17, by Chris O. Erb, Chris Streicher, and Alvin Leis.

    Schultz.- Beatrice Schultz, daughter of Samuel L. and Annie (Leis) Schultz, was born in N. Easthope Twp., Ont., Apr. 12, 1913; died at St. Marys Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., June 2, 1989; aged 76. On June 11, 1935, she was married to Samuel N. Schultz, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons (Ronald, Dennis, and Duane), one daughter (Florence Kehl), 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on June 5, in charge of Victor Dorsch and Amsey Martin; interment in Maple View Cemetery.

    Schultz, Ronald S. - Peacefully, on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1997, at his home in Millbank. Ronald was born in Wellesley, 61 years ago. He was a son of the late Samuel N. Schultz and the late Beatrice Schultz. Ron was a truck driver with the Millbank Cheese & Butter Co. for the past 20 years. Ronald was also an avid gardener. Beloved husband of Beatrice Elizabeth Witzel, whom he married in Tavistock, September 23, 1961. Dear father of Yvonne D. Schultz of Millbank, Wanda and her husband James Poole of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by his grandson Justen Poole. Dear brother of Duane and his wife Sharon Schultz of New Hamburg, Dennis and his wife Patricia Schultz of Linwood and Florence and her husband Norman Kehl of Stratford. Also by his brothers and sisters-in-law of Melvin and Ruby Witzel of Route 1, Bright and Maurice and his wife Velma Witzel of Tavistock. There will be no public visitation at the request of Ronald. A private family service will be conducted on Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997 from the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley. Pastor Glenn Zehr will officiate. Interment in Rush's Cemetery, Wellesley township. Memorials to the VON, the Stratford General Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Riverdale Mennonite Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be placed through the funeral home.

    KEHL, Florence Anne (nee Schultz) Age 76, of Stratford, suddenly went home to be with her heavenly Father on January 3, 2018 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Wellesley Township, daughter of the late Samuel and Beatrice (Schultz) Schultz. Best friend and true love of 56 years to her husband Norman Kehl. Loving mother of Cheryl (Jeff) Duncan, Cynthia (Eric) Grosse, Stephen (Kim) Kehl, Milly Tamasuza and Jackie (Errol) Blackwood. Proud grandmother of Samuel (Leigh), William, Zoe, Jack, Myles, Ryan, Renee, Joshua, Daniel, Chyro and great-grandmother of Olivia, Eli, Malik, Faith, Daniel. Florence will be fondly remembered by her siblings; Dennis (Pat) Schultz and Duane (Sharon) Schultz along with her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Beatrice Schultz, Eleanor (Al) Snyder McKee, Harvey (Arlene) Kehl, Lester (Wanda) Kehl, Donna Hartzler, Audrey (John) Dobie and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Mary and Herbert Kehl, a brother Ronald Schultz and sister-in-law Phyllis Kehl. Florence's grace, compassion and determined spirit was well known within her community. She lived a life of service and volunteerism and was best known for founding the Stratford House of Blessing, Sara's Place and Healing Rooms of Stratford. Her community recognized her for these efforts by bestowing on her many honours, including the Stratford Citizen of the Year Award and the Leading Women of Canada Award. Florence was a woman of strong faith, whose huge heart left a lasting impression with all those she came in contact with, especially children. We are shocked at her sudden passing and we all know that we will see her again. Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Jubilee Stratford Church, 707 Downie Street, Stratford on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Jubilee Stratford Church on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment in Avondale Cemetery following reception.
