Jeanne was born the youngest child of Luella (Hallman) and Gilbert Smith on June 18, 1927 in Kitchener, Ontario. Along with her sister, Florence Good, she was a community leader with the Ontario 4-H Club. She loved to sew her own clothes and to garden. She was continually surrounded by beautiful flowers that she enjoyed growing and arranging. Always a creative person, she took up painting after her retirement. Reading was a passion, as was her love for music. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice which she was called upon to use on stage in a musical in her younger days. May she rest in peace in God's loving arms and once again be given the opportunity to raise her voice, in God's glory. Friends and relatives are invited to a Life Celebration and time of remembering on Sunday, January 27th at Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, 57 Stirling Avenue N., Kit., in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 2: 30 p.m. Donations can be made in her name to CNIB.
