    KUBLEK, Ernest

    On Wednesday, August 1, 2001, peacefully, at his residence, in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Shirley MacNeil; dear father of Michael Ernest and Kimberley Eveleigh and her husband Paul, all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by his mother, Uita Kublek and two brothers, Charles and his wife Bea of Cambridge and Bert and his wife, Eleanor of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his father, Ernest Kublek. He will be sadly missed by his niece, Wendy and nephews, Johnny, Kurt and Tyler. Mr. Kublek was born in Glace Bay, N.S. and had been a resident of Cambridge, for the past 43 years. He was retired from Dana Canada, a member of St. Clement's RC Church and a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch 126. The family will receive friends, at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge today (Thursday), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated, at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge, on Friday, August 3, 2001, at 10 a.m. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.

    KUBLEK, Charles Roscoe

    At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday, April 21, 2003, in his 62nd year. Charles Roscoe Kublek, born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, in June 22, 1941. Loving husband of Beatrice. Dear father of John (Michelle) Kublek and Wendy (Dan) Kublek. Cherished grandfather of Shane, Matthew and Jonathan; Aaron, Kayla, Ashley and Jason. Survived by brother, Bert (Eleanor) Kublek and sister-in-law, Shirley Kublek. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Uita Kublek and one brother, Ernest Kublek. Charles came to Cambridge, in 1958 and worked at Franklin Manufacturer, for 32 years and at Pride Signs in Cambridge, for five years. He was a member of St. Clements RC Church and a faithful member of the Royal Canadian Legion, for 31 years. Friends will be received at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, on Wednesday, April 23, 2003, from 6-9 p.m., (a legion service will be held at 7 p.m. and parish prayers at 8: 30 p.m.) and Thursday, from 9: 30 until 10: 30 a.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clements RC Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, on Thursday, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
