    BROOMFIELD, Cameron Alexander

    At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, April 15, 1995, Cameron Broomfield in his 78th year. Beloved son of the late Robert and Gertrude (Davidson) Broomfield and great-grandson of Robert and Jean (Campbell) Broomfield, who were very early settlers in Galt. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret (Landsborough) in February 1990. He is survived by his loving cousin, James Broomfield and wife Rose, Barbara (Broomfield) Norvak, Miss Connie McFadgen, Mrs. Shirley Page, Peggy Proud, Mary Gyuritis, Harry Davidson, Paul Davidson, Noreen Wright and their families and his loving niece, Sharon (Landsborough) Valens and nephew Ross Landsborough and their families and Gail Hills and his sister-in-law, Grace (Garden) Landsborough and Dorothy (Landsborough) Last. Cameron was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. He was a retired bank manager of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. He was an ardent golfer and curler for many years and a member of the Probuss Club. He was a veteran of World War II and served overseas with the R.C.A.F. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Monday, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment, Mount View Cemetery.
