    It is with great sadness that the family of Carolyn Starchuk (née Brohman) announce her death on Monday, September 2, 2019 at A.R. Goudie in Kitchener in her 81st year. Carolyn leaves behind her children Leisa (Ron) Desmoulins, Lynne (Mark) Holmberg, Maria (James) Giffen, and Jon (Jennifer Capes) Starchuk to remember her lovingly. She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren Kristian Holmberg, Max, Mose, and Lily Desmoulins, and Sam and Emelia Giffen. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her\emdash their presence lit up her face. Carolyn is survived by her sisters Marolyn McGinty (Jim Finlayson) and Rosemarie Startek (Ron), brothers Michael, John (Carol), and Christopher (David Beckner) and sister-in-law Mary Brohman. Carolyn was predeceased by her son Grant (February, 1960), her husband Victor (September, 2013), her brother Charles (June, 2019), and her parents, Gilbert (January, 1993) and Marie (née Koehler, October, 1972) Brohman. Cremation has taken place. Carolyn's children will host a celebration of life for extended family members at a later date.     BROHMAN, Charles J. It is with tremendous heartbreak that the family of Charles J. Brohman announce his peaceful passing at Grand River Hospital on Monday, June 3, 2019 in his 74th year. Charles sadly leaves his wife Mary of 53 years and their children Ted (Judi) and Kate (Sean McKillop) but joyfully reunites with his beloved daughter Caroline (Buzzy). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Ronnie, Caroline and Charlie Brohman and John, Kairie, Cameron (Nieva), Hannah and Caitlin McKillop. His pride in his children and grandchildren was limitless. Charles is survived by his sisters Carolyn Starchuk (late Victor), Marolyn McGinty (Jim Finlayson), Rosemarie Startek (Ron) and brothers Michael, John (Carol), and Christopher (David). He will be fondly remembered as a cherished brother-in-law and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gilbert and Marie (Koehler) Brohman. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. A regional businessman and entrepreneur, Charles launched several initiatives that were decades ahead of his time including Cultures, the first healthy fast food restaurant in KW. He was also a property owner and promoter of the arts, nothing was more important to him than enriching the Waterloo-Wellington community that has been home to his family for five generations.     BROHMAN, Caroline Anne (Buzzy) -Suddenly, as the result of an auto accident, on Thursday, Oct. 21, 1993, in her 24th year.

    Cherished daughter of Mary and Charles Brohman of Kitchener; dear sister of Ted Brohman and his wife Judi and Kate Brohman of Kitchener. Much loved aunt and godmother of 'Ronnie Brohman. Loving grand-daughter of Veronica and Edward Coady. Dear friend of Jason John. She will be greatly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

    Predeceased by her grandparents, .Gilbert and Marie Brohman.

    Buzzy was a gradate and former student council co-president of Grand River collegiate, Kitchener and a graduate of the University of Western Ontario Business School in London, Ont. For the past two years she was an instructor at the university's business school.

    There will be no funeral home visitation. A service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Chapel, 51 Benton St., Kitchener. Donations to the University of Western Ontario Business School, Department of Alumni Relations, London, N6A 5B8 would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
