Snider, Gertie, daughter of John and Hannah (Bergey) Kunkel, died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., Sept. 1, 1983; aged 92 y. She was married to Harvey Snider, who preceded her in death. Surviving are 9 children (Ruby Boltz, Rhea-Mrs. Donald Patterson, Betty-Mrs. Jack Carter, Foster, Merrel, Darel, Wallace, Ross, and Dale), 22 grandchildren, 22great-grandchildren, and one brother (Norman). She was preceded in death by 2 sons (John and Glen), and 3 brothers (Milton, Jacob, and Irvin). She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Kitchener, Ont., where funeral services were held on Sept. 5, in charge of Brice Balmer; interment in church cemetery.

BOLTZ, Ruby Viola Passed away on August 22, 2011 at 96 years of age. Loving mother of Harvey (Linda) Boltz, David (Diane) Battler, Janice MacKay and Phyllis Purdy. Missed sister of Wallace, Betty, Dale and Darryl and the late Rhea, Merle, Ross, Glen and Foster. Also survived by several grand-children and great-grandchildren. SNIDER, Foster J. Peacefully, on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Country Terrace Nursing Home, Komoka. Foster J. Snider, formerly of Melbourne, in his 95th year. Predeceased by his wife Lauretta (1995). Dear father of Larry (Diana) of Strathroy. Dear grandfather of Tracey Diorio and Sherie (Joe) Travato, and two step-grandchildren Trevor (Marnie) Elliott, and Jacqueline (Dave) Thomson. Great-grandchildren Sam Diorio, John and Mattea Travato, Blake and Cameron Thomson and Josh, Jake, Mackenna Elliot. Sadly missed by siblings Ruby, Betty, Wally, Darrell, and Dale. Predeceased by brothers Murrel, Ross, John, and sister Rhea. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Friends may call at the Guthrie Presbyterian Church, on Tuesday, August 16th from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Memorial service to celebrate Foster's life will commence at 12 p.m. Interment of ashes at a later date.
