GARFIELD HEIBEIN
On Monday, Dec. 15, 1986, at Freeport Hospital, following a lengthy illness, Garfield Heibein, formerly of 44 Weber St. W., Kitchener, was granted his last wish. He was 82 years of age. He was a member of St. Mary's RC Church and was a retired employee of Hydro City Shoe. He also served four years with the Canadian Armed Forces in World War II. Step-father of Marie Sales and Ruth (Mrs. Joseph Stalker) both of Kitchener; brother of Howard of Waterloo and Gertrude (Mrs. Gordon Lichty) of St. Jacobs. He was predeceased by his wife Zina Schiebel in 1981; two step-sons, Howard and Nelson Schiebel; step-daughter, Kathleen Steffler; a brother, Edgar and two sisters, Edna and Elvina. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services and committal will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 10: 30 a.m., with Father James Scoles officiating. Interment Kitchener Mount Hope cemetery.
