    R. W. Lautenschlager

    A lifelong resident of Kitchener, Rowland W. Lautenschlager, 73, of 181 Frederick St., died today, at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness.

    He was born June 15, 1885, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Lautenschlager. He worked at the water department of the city. in the old city hall and was interested in philanthropic work throughout his life. Mr. Lautenschlager was an deacon and associate honorary, treasurer of Benton Street Baptist Church.

    He is survived by his wife, the former Edna Lorene Boehmer, whom he married in 1935. One sister predeceased him.

    The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Friday when removal will be made to Benton Street Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. by Rev. Leander Roblin with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
