    DAHMER, Ambrose (Gus)

    Passed away, on Monday. Nov. 8, 1993, at K-W Hospital, age 72 years. A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He retired from Towne Bowl in 1984 but remained active in many activities. He was a member of the Winter Safe Walking for the City of Kitchener. An honorary member of the Kitchener Horticultural Society, a past president of Cameron Heights Kiwanis, a member of the Good Neighbors for the City of Kitchener, as well as a member of the Advisory Council of Victoria School Centre. Husband of Bernice (nee Frederick) Dahmer: brother-in-law of Elaine Bassil and her husband Fred, also Elaine Frederick, uncle to David Bassil, Ray Frederick and his wife Beatrice, Bradley Frederick as well as Lorrie and Art Amos. He was predeceased by his parents, Elsina (nee Heist) and Gustav Dahmer. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener, will continue until noon on Thursday, when transfer will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church for funeral services at 2 pm.. Rev. Horst Aechtncr and Rev. Donald Stroh officiating. Interment Memory Gardens.
