EPHRAIM MUSSELMAN

The funeral of Ephraim Musselman, 70, of Floradale, who died Thursday, November 7, was conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Floradale.

Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Frank Malinsky officiated.

Born near Glen Allan, May 10, 1887, he was a son of the late Amos Musselman and Magdalena Allgeier. In February, 1909, he married Emma Marie Stahlbaum of North Woolwich. The couple lived in Floradale for several years before moving to a farm on the fourth line of Peel Township.

Nine years ago they returned to Floradale where he and his son, Edward, operated Musselman's Sale and Service. He He was also a farm implements dealer.

Mr. Musselman retired two years ago. He was a member of Trinity Church.

Surviving are his wife; four sons, Gordon of Waterloo, Arthur of RR 1, Elmira; Clayton of Parkway and Edward of Floradale; four brothers. Menno and Philip of Kincardine, Noah of Woodstock and Edward of RR 1, Elmira; two sisters, Magdalena and Rebecca of Kitchener; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One son, Russel, and one brother predeceased him. The body rested at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Sunday noon when it was removed to the church.

Beloved husband of Edna (Bauman] Musselman. Dear father of Jean and George Orth of Drayton, Frederick of Collingwood, Earl of Alma, Jack and Nancy of Arthur. Fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Barbara, Douglas and David Orth, Jason, Dwayne, Shawn and Anita Musselman and his seven great-grandchildren. Brother of Clayton of Baden. Predeceased by his parents. Ephraim and Emma Musselman; brother, Russell in infancy, brothers, Edward and Gordon.

Art owned and operated Musselman Sand and Gravel for several years and later farmed at RR 1, Elmira until his retirement to Alma.

Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira after 2 p.m. Thursday where the family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Friday transfer will be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. Floradale for funeral service at 2 pm. with Rev. Richard Frey officiating followed by interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

MUSSELMAN, Clayton Frederick Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Mennonite Home on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the age of 103 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Irene (nee Goodwin) in 2004, Clayton is survived by his children Pat (Ron) Wagner, Gerald Musselman, Roger (Anne) Musselman, Connie Gerlach, Dean (Carol) Musselman and daughter-in-law Gladys Musselman, grandchildren Scott (Melanie) Wagner, Jodi (Peter) Roth, Russell (Windsor) Wagner, Tracy (Wade) Goodman, Lorrie (Dom) Marchitelli, Carrie Musselman, Katrina (Rick) Hooker, Jonathan Musselman (Katie Kell), Daniel Musselman, Trisha Musselman (Shawn Boka), Jay Musselman (Leah McCarthy) as well as 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother-in-law Fred Schmidt and sister-in-law Jackie Goodwin.

Predeceased by his son-in-law Reinhold Gerlach and four brothers and their spouses, Russel in infancy, Edward (Norma), Gordon (Beatrice), Art (Edna). Clayton was a custodian at several schools including Victoria Public, W.C.I., Conestoga Public and later retiring as head custodian from Sandowne Public School. He was a member of Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly. Through their lives, Clayton and Irene enjoyed cottaging in Port Elgin, travelling and attending Christian based retreats. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at Parkwood Mennonite Home and St. Jacob's place for their compassionate care towards dad. Visitation will be at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room and interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Edward C. Musselman, 39, of Floradale, died Monday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Peel Township, July 17, 1921, he was a son of Mrs. Emma Musselman of Floradale and the late Ephriam Musselman. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Floradale. Surviving are his wife, the former Enorma Heirnpel; his mother; one daughter, Donna at home: three brothers. Gordon of Waterloo, Arthur of RR 1, Elmira and Clayton of Kitchener. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Wednesday when removal was made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Floradale, for the funeral. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Rev.
