Two Sisters Die Within Two Hours
Within two hours, two sisters died yesterday and today in Kitchener and Galt, respectively. They are Mrs. George Ehrhardt, 63, of Forbes St., Hespeler, who died at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt, and Mrs. Emelie Helena Ludolph, 69, of 44 Cherry St., Kitchener, who died at K-W Hospital.
Third Sister Dead
Their deaths followed that of a third sister, Mrs. Cleason Musselman of Kitchener, by only two weeks. They were the daughters of the late Conrad Gremm and the former Helena Hoelscher. Mrs. Emelie Helena Ludolph died after a lengthy illness. She was born May 28, 1884, in Breslau, and married the late Herman Ludolph in Kitchener, June 3, 1914. Mr. Ludolph predeceased his wife in 1940. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Surviving, in addition to her two brothers and sister, are two sons, Paul and Arnold, both of Kitchener; two daughters, Meta and Dorothy, both at home. Funeral will be conducted Friday at 2: 30 p.m. at St. Peters' Lutheran Church, Kitchener, with Rev. A. W. Lotz officiating. Burial will be in Mannheim, where Mrs. Ludolph lived before moving to Kitchener in 1945. The body is at the Gruhn Funeral Home until Friday at 1 p.m. when removal will be made to the church.

Herman C. Gremm, formerly of 456 Wellington, St. N., died Monday at K-W. Hospital after a lengthy He was 82.
Mr. Gremm was born in Breslau, July 13, 1886, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Gremm. He resided in the Twin City area for his entire, lifetime. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
He married the former Myra Schiedel, who predeceased him in 1965. Surviving are two sons, Gordon, RR 1, Drumbo and Kenneth, Erbsville; four daughters, Mrs. George (Ruth) Watson, Guelph, Mrs. Nelda Goebel, Mrs. Lester (Marguerite) Kay and Mrs. Verna Leigh, all of Kitchener: one brother Will, Wiarton; 19 grand. children and 13 great-grandchildren.

EHRHARDT, LAURA (Nee Gremm)
Mrs. George Ehrhardt of Forbes St. in Hespeler, at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, January 26, 1954, at the age of 63. Her sister, Mrs. Emelie Helena Ludolph of 44 Cherry St. in Kitchener, died the day afterwards at K-W Hospital, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 69 years. Their deaths followed that of a third sister, Mrs. Cleason Musselman of Kitchener, by only two weeks. Mrs. Ehrhardt was born in Waterloo Township, near Breslau on May 16, 1891, the daughter of the late Helena Hoelscher and Conrad Gremm. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Hespeler and of the Ladies' Aid of that church. She lived in Waterloo Township for a number of years until in the spring of 1918, when she was married to George Erhardt of Galt by the late Rev. Beckman. She lived in Puslinch twenty-seven years and moved to Hespeler seven years ago. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons and two daughters: Carl Erhardt and Edward Ehrhardt, both of Hespeler; Nelda (Mrs. Ernest Klein) of Hespeler; Helen (Mrs. Clarence Reidt) of Waterloo; two brothers and one sister: Herman Gremm of Kitchener; William Gremm of Wiarton; Mrs. Catherine Kinzie of Kitchener; and nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. Stager Funeral Home. Stager Funeral Home in Hespeler. Funeral service at St. James' Lutheran Church in Hespeler on Sat., Jan. 30th at 2. Rev. C. S. Roberts officiated. Burial in Hespeler Cemetery.

A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and an active Sunday School teacher for many years. Son of the late Herman Ludolph and the former Emma Gremm. Survived by his wife, the former Margaret Wagner; one son, Frederick, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Katharine (Hans) Borch of Alberta and Christine, at home; also survived by two sisters, Meta and Dorothy, both of Kitchener. Predeceased by one brother, Arnold. Friends may call at the Gruhn Funeral Home, 178 Queen St. S., Kitchener until noon Wednesday when removal will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church for funeral service and committal at 2 p.m., Dr. H. W. Opperman officiating. Internment in the spring in St. Peter's cemetery. Arnold C. Ludolph of 61 Benton St. died at his home Tuesday after a brief illness. He was 58. Born Aug. 20, 1916, in Waterloo Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ludolph. A Kitchener resident since 1945; he was employed for 15 years in the warehouse of York Trading Ltd. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Surviving are one brother, Paul, and two sisters, Meta and Dorothy, all of Kitchener. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Dr. H. W. Opperman at the Gruhn Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery.

Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Columbia Forest LTC, Waterloo, at age 93. Daughter of the late Herman Ludolph and Emilie (Gremm) Ludolph. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Also predeceased by her brother Paul and wife Margaret, brother Arnold, and sister Meta. Fondly remembered by nieces, Katharine Borch and husband Hans, Chris Kresky and husband Mark; and nephew Fred Ludolph and wife Debbie Lou; great-nieces, Anna Winter (Kevin), Meghan Kresky (Nick), Melissa Crawford (Adam), and Rebekah Ludolph (Nathan Mantey); great-nephews, Matthew Borch (Natalie), David Borch (Katelyn), and Paul Ludolph. Also remembered by great-greats, Corson and Pyper Winter, Scarlett, Joseph and Derek Borch, and Sonja Mantey-Ludolph. Retired from Kaufman footwear in 1987 after 41 years of service. A long-time faithful member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Kitchener singing in the choir for over 40 years, a member of Lutheran Women and the quilting group. Dorothy loved music, flowers, her family and her church. She has been the matriarch of our family, the keeper of our history, and she will be missed. Beloved husband of Shirley (Zettel) Stuebing of Waterloo; loving father of Jason and Jennifer Stuebing; dear brother of Chuck (Delores), Jim (Sandra), Larry (Karen), Dave (Sharon) and Sharyn Hass (Ken) and brother-in-law of Paul, Ron (Judy) and Dennis. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, John and Laura Stuebing and brother, Bruce Stuebing. Edward's family will receive friends and relatives at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St., S., Waterloo, on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The complete funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, December 13, 2001, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Vern Trafford officiating. Following cremation, interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Arthurs, Joy Helen (nee Goebel): Passed away on Monday November 2, 2009 at the KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 67. Beloved partner and best friend of the late Don McConkey (October 11, 2009). Dear sister of Shirley Goebel-Best (Avery), Ronald Goebel (Barbara) and Karen Stroud (Don). Also survived by her grandsons Brian (Ashley) and Greg (Katrina), great grandson Caleb, nieces Charlene, Lori, Cathy and Pam and nephews Steven and Dale. Momma Joy to Joanne (Gerry) and Brenda (Fred). Loved Gramma Joy to Justin, Jenna, Felicity and Devin. Predeceased by her God son Bradley Goebel and parents Nelda (nee Gremm) and Elmer Goebel.
Joy's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Thursday November 5, 2009 after 12:00 noon. A memorial celebration of Joy's life will be held in the chapel at 1:00 pm with Rev. Wendy MacFadzean officiating. Interment in New Hope Cemetery Cambridge following a reception at the funeral home.
