    Mrs. Emma Wettlaufer, 78, of Baden died Monday at K-W Hospital after a short illness. Born in North Easthope Township, Feb. 26, 1883, she was a daughter of the late Valentine Glasser and the former Cora Lohr. She was a Baden resident for the past 22 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg, and St. James Lutheran Church, Baden. Mrs. Wettlaufer was predeceased by her husband, Jacob B. Wettlaufer in 1952. Surviving are one son, Alvin of R.R. 3, New Hamburg; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Minnie) Doering of R.R. 1, Tavistock; seven brothers, Henry and William of Baden, Edwin of Lisbon, Milton, Allan, Valentine and Herbert, all of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. George (Ida) Kneisel of Gadshill; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The body rested at the Futher Omand Funeral Home until Thursday noon when removal was made to Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg, for service at 3 p.m. Rev. Lloyd Wiseman officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

    A former stationary engineer at Waterloo Manufacturing Co., Ltd, Henry Emmanuel Berg, 85, of 112 Cameron St. N. died Saturday at Coutts Memorial Pavilion after a lengthy illness.

    A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Berg, he was born in Wellesley and lived in Kitchener for the past 28 years. He was a member of St John's Lutheran Church.

    Surviving are his wife, the former Frieda Kuhr, whom he married in Hespeler on Sept. 15, 1929, one son, Howard, Kitchener; one daughter, Mrs. Philip (Helen) Schaefer, Waterloo; three brothers, Albert and Conrad of New Hamburg, and Allan, Wellesley; two sisters, Mrs. George (Elizabeth) Zinn of RR 2, Stratford, and Mrs. Louis (Mary) Ottman, Wellesley, and one grandson.

    The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until noon on Tuesday when removal will be made to St. John's Lutheran Church for the service at 2 p.m. Rev. A. L. Conrad will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.

    BERG, Allan H. - Peacefully, on Thursday, May 3, 1990, at Brunner Nursing Home, Allan Henry Berg, formerly of Wellesley. Mr. Berg was born in Wellesley township, 98 years ago. He was a son of the late Christian Berg and the late Maria Glasser. He had farmed in Wellesley Township, retiring to Wellesley in 1951. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife, the former Clara Lautenschlager, May 31, 1975 and also by five brothers; three sisters; one grandson, Brian and one great-granddaughter, Julie. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Sunday, May 6, removal will be made to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, for the funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. Pastor Wilmer Minke will officiate. Loving mother of Ronald Doering of Waterloo and fiancé Ginnie Timpson of Hespeler, Robert Doering and Dee Hughes, Mark and Tammy Doering, all of Kitchener. Sadly missed by grandchildren Grant, Heather, Christopher, Michael, Shaun, Chris, Samantha, Elizabeth, Brett, Madelynn, Patrick, Kylene and by great-grandchildren Brayden and Ava.
