MARTIN, Clifford - With his step-daughter and caring, compassionate nurses, especially Michelle Maiden RN, and her student nurse Katie Kuckyt, by his side at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday November 23, 2008, at the age of 81. He is now in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus. He will be dearly missed by his companion and best friend, Susan. Dearly loved step-father of Debbie Notley (Dan), who has been a special encouragement and inspiration in his life. He will also be dearly missed by his step-children, Mary Journeau (Jim), Susan E. Moore and Craig Moore (Dorothy). Cherished grandpa of Gabrielle, Brittney, Paige, Amelia and Savannah. Loving brother of Wilma Metzger (Aaron), Verna Wilson (the late Glen) and the late Eugene Martin (Viola). He is survived by nieces and nephews, Ron (Fern), John (Lynne), Della, Jeff (Margaret) Daryl (Kate). Fondly remembered by his niece, Miriam Martin (Paul) and nephew, Ken Martin (Dorene). Many thanks to all those who have kept our family in their thoughts and prayers. It is Jesus who continues to give us strength during this difficult time, as we celebrate both Clifford's life and passing into eternity. Clifford is at the Morse & Son Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes , 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, where his family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock (an interpreter will be present and a section will be reserved for those who are hearing impaired). Burial service to take place in Elmira Mennonite Cemetery on Friday. For those who wish, donations may be made to Ontario Missions of the Deaf/Bob Rumball Centre or Niagara Hospice. Also lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Erma Gingrich and sister of Curtis and Reta Gingrich. Sister-in-law of Ada Weber, Edwin and Lydia Weber, Velina and Harvey Martin, Lucinda Brubacher, Henry and Mary Weber, Almeda and Leonard Martin, Adeline and Angus Bauman. GINGRICH, Gordon "Gord" - Peacefully, went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, March 13, 1997, Gordon "Gord" Gingrich, in his 68th year, of Elmira.

Loving husband of Erma (Knechtel) Gingrich; dear father of David and Cindy Gingrich of Elmira, Karen Gingrich, of Toronto, and her fiance Ralph Findling, Tim and Laurel Gingrich of Regina, Sask. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Justin, Michelle and Caleb. Brother of Reta and Angus Weber of Dorking, Curtis and Reta Gingrich of RR 4, Elmira. Gord owned and operated Gord's Service Centre in Elmira.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Sunday, transfer will be made to the Woodside Bible Fellowship, 200 Barnswallow Dr., Elmira, for funeral service at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Paul Fletcher officiating, followed by interment in the Hawkesville Cemetery.
