    North Dumfries' oldest resident, Mrs. Elizabeth Elliott (Bessie) Wright of RR 4, Galt passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 14, 1983. She was in her 102nd year. The former Bessie Ford, she was born on the Greenfield Road on September 27, 1882. A daughter of the late John Ford and Elizabeth Miller. She lived all her life on Greenfield Road. A member of Central Presbyterian Church, Cambridge and a life member of Central Dumfries Women's Institute. Predeceased by her husband Thomas Peter Wright on May 3, 1960. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Viola) Gaston of RR 4, Cambridge; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Ethel) McCabe of Cambridge, Mrs. Albert (Mary) Amies of Guelph and Mrs. Emerson (Ida) Harkness of Glen Morris. Also surviving are two grandsons, Peter and Richard Schramm. Predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. Funeral service and commital were held from the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Cambridge on Saturday, December 17th. Interment in Mount View Cemetery.

    WRIGHT, Elizabeth Elliott (Bessie) - Of RR 4, Cambridge, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 1983, in her 102nd year, Bessie Ford.

    Beloved wife of the late Thomas Peter Wright; dear mother of Viola (Mrs. Fred Gaston) of RR 4, Cambridge; dear sister of Ethel (Mrs. Joseph McCabe) of Cambridge, Mary (Mrs. Albert Amies) of Guelph and Ida (Mrs. Emerson Harkness) of Glen Morris. Also survived by two grandsons, Peter and Richard Schramm. Predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.

    Resting at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends this evening from 7-9 and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral and committal service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Satur- day, Dec. 17 at 12:30p.m. Interment Mount View cemetery, Cambridge.

    As expressions of sympathy, dona- tions may be made to the Ontario Heart Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

    Passed away peacefully on June 16, 2013 at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock, in her 91st year. Cherished mother of sons Peter (Shirley) and Richard (Pamela), grandmother to Elizabeth (Jim), Tom, Jennifer, Alicia, Joel (Charlotte), Paul and Daniel, and great-grandmother to Madison Viola, and Kalob. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Bessie Wright and her beloved husband Fred (2010). Viola will be remembered fondly by many friends and relatives, including her dog Toby, for her sweetness, generous nature and adorable smile. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment Mt. View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. We would like to thank all the staff at Caressant Care Nursing Home for the love and care they bestowed on our mother during her time there. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
