Passed away peacefully at Sunshine Centre of Luther Village on Wednesday June 17, 2015 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Marion (1989). Loving father of Paul and his wife Carol. Proud grandfather of Mark Bergman and his wife Ahava. Dear brother of Ruth Longeway (late Hodge), Rita Warias (Al) and the late Fred Bergman (Margaret). Ed was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Westmount Golf and Country Club, and a former member of the Waterloo Lions Club. Despite having a disability from childhood, he enjoyed curling, golf, fishing and hunting. He was the proud owner of Ed Bergman Jewellers, retiring in 1981. Ed's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Sunday June 21, 2015 and from 10-10:45 am on Monday June 22, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday at 11 am. Reception to follow. Private cremation to take place.
