Mrs. Katherine Berrington 67 of 42 Kribs St. a resident of Hespeler for 40 years, died suddenly, Thurs., Feb. 4th while shopping.

Mrs. Berrington was born in London, England and came to Hespeler in 1920. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church and was active in the Women's Auxiliary to the Hespeler Legion.

Her husband, Frederick George Berrington, predeceased her in 1946. Surviving are two sons, Fred of Simcoe and Alfred of Scotland, and one sister Margaret Walsh in England.

A memorial service was held at the Stager-Nelson Funeral Home, Galt St., Friday night at 7:45 pm and was conducted by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Hespeler Legion.

The funeral was conducted from St. James Anglican Church Sat., Feb. 6 at 1:30 pm by the Rev. J.A. Armstrong.

Interment was in the Hespeler Cemetery.

BERRINGTON, Frederick John

At the Hamilton General Hospital, on Tuesday, September 17th, 1991, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of the late Doris Berrington (1978). Survived by several aunts, nieces and nephews. A long time friend of Ella Vann of Cambridge. Mr. Berrington had been employed at Canadian General Tower until his retirement in 1985: Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where friends will be received on Thursday evening, from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral and Committal Services will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, September 20th., 1991, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment, Parklawn Cemetery.

BERRINGTON - Alfred "Bullet" suddenly at his home in Dundee, Scotland on Saturday, January 24th, 1987 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Ada McFarlane, father of William of Kitchener, Ontario, Donna, Gloria and Anne of Dundee. He is survived by one brother Fred of Cambridge. Veteran of the second World War and Korean war, serving overseas with the and R.C.R. regiments. Born in Hespeler, moved to Scotland thirty years ago. Sadly missed by Family and Friends.
