    LICHTY, Arthur Rueben (Art) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at A.R. Goudie Eventide Home, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Olive Lichty for 16 years. Dear father of Gordon and his wife Linda, Cliff and his wife Jacqueline, Charlene and her husband Murray Weber, Chester, Brad and his wife Rebecca. Dear grandpa to Kevin (Tara), David (Bonnie), Blaine, Desiree, Trevor, Kimberly, Christina, Nicole, Kayla and Melissa. Great-grandpa to Devon, Brooklyn, Emma and Tyler. Step-father of Phyllis and her husband Maurice Martin and their family Ben (Liz) and Joelle (Chris). Dear brother of Helen Shantz, Norma Shantz (Ab) and Mervin (Delphine). Also survived by his brother-in-law Bill Verkerke and sister-in-law Mae Lichty. Predeceased by his first wife Eunice (nee Kennel) Lichty, his brother Cranson, sisters Bernice Randall and Glennys Verkerke and brother-in-laws John Randall, Bob Beechy and Nyal Shantz. Arthur's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 749-8467. Funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006 at First Mennonite Church (800 King St. E., Kitchener). Pastor Gary Knarr officiating. Interment First Mennonite Cemetery followed by a reception at the church.     LICHTY, Gordon Dale Peacefully at Sakura House in Woodstock on Sunday, May 6, 2012, after a long struggle with cancer, at the age of 67. Loving husband and best friend of Linda (MacIntosh) Lichty of 45 years. Dear father of Kevin (Tara) and Dave (Bonnie). Proud Grampa of Devon, Brooklyn, Emma and Tyler. Remembered in love by his brother Cliff (Jacquie), sister Charlene (Murray) Weber, brother Brad (Rebecca), and step-mother, Olive Lichty. Also by his brothers-in-law, Ian (Barb) and Jim (Carol) MacIntosh. Uncle of Blaine (Tara), Desi, Trevor (Jenny), Kim (Steve), Christina (Trevor), Nicole and Kayla. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Eunice (Kennel) and one brother, Chet. Gord was a skilled tradesman in the heating industry for over 43 years for Boehmers and Overland Plumbing & Heating. He will be missed by his friends at Family Paradise Campground where he spent 25 years of camping and enjoying his 'down' time around the evening campfires....his most favourite time of the day. A heartfelt thank you to the many caregivers who helped Gord on his journey with cancer, including Grand River Cancer Centre, the chemo dept., Dr. Ruth Gingell-Potts and her staff, and the excellent care he received by the staff at Sakura House. We would also like to remember the Stratford CCAS, and a special thanks to his nurse, Victor, who helped pave the way for his comfort. Visitation will be held at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer St., Milverton, on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Poole Mennonite Church, Poole, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Pastor Paul Dyck officiating. Interment in the Church cemetery. Reception to follow.     LICHTY, Chester (Chet) Passed away with family at his side, after a brief illness at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 53. Dear brother to Gord (Linda) of Millbank, Cliff (Jacqueline) of Kitchener, Char Weber (Murray) of Elmira and Brad (Rebecca) of Niagara Falls. Special uncle to Kevin (Tara), Dave (Bonnie), Blaine (Tara), Desi Lichty, Trevor (Jenny), Kim Fyke (Steve), Christina Weber. Nicole Lichty and Kayla Lichty (Jordan) who lived with Chet. Great-uncle to Devon, Brooklyn, Emma, and Tyler. Predeceased by his parents Arthur (2006) and Eunice (1986) (nee Kennell). Chester was employed at Pentair (Myers Pumps) for over 35 years.
