WANNER, Myrum - On Saturday, Sept. 5, 1981 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Mr. Wanner, aged 86 of Nithview Home, New Hamburg and formerly of New Dundee. He was the last surviving member of his family. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, New Dundee. Son of the late John Wanner and the former Mary Honk, he is survived by a nephew Earl Goodwin of Cambridge (G), 2 nieces, Bea (Mrs. Jim Brown) of New Dundee and Joyce (Mrs. William Hopkins) of Timmins. A sister Violet Goodwin predeceased him. The late Mr. Wanner rested at the Mark Jutzl Funeral Home, New Hamburg Chapel, where a service was held on Monday at 2 p.m. Rev. Andre Lavergne officiated. Interment was in Union Cemetery, New Dundee.

GOODWIN, Mrs. James (Violet) - At St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Tuesday, May 22, 1979, following a lengthy illness, aged 68 years, Violet Wanner, of Bridge Street, New Dundee. A member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Church Women. Daughter of the late John Wanner and Mary Honk; wife of the late James Goodwin. Surviving is one son Earl of Cambridge, (G), two daughters, Beatrice (Mrs. Jim Brown) of New Dundee and Joyce (Mrs. William Hopkins) of Timmins; one brother Myrum of New, Dundee; fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one daughter, Alva, in infancy. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener. Funeral and committal services will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, May 24, at 11 a.m. Rev. Norman Lange officiating. Interment to follow in Union cemetery, New Dundee.

GOODWIN, Earl - Passed away, at Hamilton General Hospital, on Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, Earl Goodwin, in his 68th year, of 650 Eagle St. N., Cambridge. Husband of Miriam (Thibideau) whom he married on February 18, 1950. Dear father of Betty and her husband Bernard Fitzpatrick, John and his wife Beth, Katherine and her husband David Klein, all of Cambridge, Peter and his wife Susan of Waterford, Daniel and his wife Lynn of Cambridge, Colin and his wife Janice and Durham, Michael and his wife Lise and Darryl and his wife Beverly of Cambridge and dear Grampa of 18 grandchildren. Mr. Goodwin is survived by his two sisters, Beatrice Brown of New Dundee and Joyce Hopkins of Kitchener. He was also predeceased by is parents, James and Violet Goodwin. Mr. Goodwin is resting at Nelson Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge this evening from 7-9 pm (Monday) and from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday. The funeral service will be held at St. James' Lutheran church on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment at New Hope Cemetery. Those who wish may made a memorial donation to the Heart and stroke Foundation of Ontario.
