Schacht, Olive (nee Koch) - Passed away, suddenly, at her apartment in Waterloo, on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, in her 87th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Percy, on January 14, 1992. Survived by her sons, Brian Schacht and Gail of Brantford and Cammie Schacht and his wife Barb of London. Remembered by her daughter-in-law, Julie Schacht of Cambridge. Grandmother of Karin and her husband Laszlo Garamszegi, Stephen Schacht, all of London and Cindi Schacht of Cambridge. Also survived by four great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 1: 30 p.m. until the time of funeral service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel at 2: 30 p.m. Private internment in Memory Gardens, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Schacht, Brian Keith - Passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, on Sunday, August 3, 2008, at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 66th year. Dear friend of Gail, Julie and Virginia. Loving father of Cindi (Kevin) Claydon and grandfather of Chloe. He will be remembered also by Erik Lund. Brother of Cammie (Barb) and uncle of Stephan and Karen. Predeceased by his parents, Percy and Olive (nee Koch) Schacht. As golf and work were Brian's life, he too will be missed by his golf buddies and many friends at Sears where he was dedicated for over 35 years, retiring in 1998. The Schacht family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Thursday, August 7, 2008 from 1: 30 p.m. until the time of Brian's memorial service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
