    Dorothy Katherine Apel. Born October 30, 1914 in New Hamburg, Ontario, passed away peacefully in Richmond, B.C. on April 2, 2000. She was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1956, her two brothers Howard and Ralph, and sister Evelyn. Dorothy is lovingly remembered by her son Ronald Apel and his wife Joan; grandchildren Amber, Robin, Ronald Jr. and his wife Brenda, her sister Eileen Hauser, and many friends. Dorothy's family greatly appreciates the excellent care she received from the staff of Courtyard Gardens in Richmond.

    Ronald Albert Apel - Born July 10, 1938, passed away, suddenly, on October 14, 2001. Ron will be remembered for his never-ending love of his friends and family. His kind heart, tender smile and gentle ways will be dearly missed. Ron will continue to live in the hearts of Joan (Watson), his loving wife and their three devoted children, Ron (Brenda), Robin and Amber. Ron joins his predeceased parents, Dorothy and Albert, April 2000 and May 1956 respectively. Throughout his life Ron gathered many friends who will miss his stead fast companionship, his love of cards and golf.
