Mrs. Margaret Weber - Mrs. Margaret Weber, 84, of 101 Chapel St., died suddenly of a heart attack today at K-W Hospital. She was born April 4, 1875, in Pilkington Township, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Schaefer. She had lived in Kitchener for 32 years and was a member of Benton Street Baptist Church and the Mission Circle of the church. Her husband, Noah Weber, died in 1948. Surviving are one son, Earl of Kitchener; two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Ethel) Cook of Windsor and Mrs. Robert G. (Ruth) Buchner of Kitchener; five brothers, Henry of New Hamburg, John of Kitchener, Eli of Richmond, Va., Israel of Windsor, Solomon of Hamilton; four sisters, Miss Naomi Schaefer of Kitchener, Mrs. P. G. Buck, Mrs. Louise Cantle, Mrs. D. C. Main, all of Toronto,; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. One brother and two sisters predeceased her. The body is at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Wednesday when removal will be made to the church. Funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Leander Roblin. Burial will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.

WEBER, Earl A. - Of 11 Margaret Ave. and Lion's Head, Ont., passed away, peacefully, at K-W Hospital, on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 1990, in his 87th year. He is survived by his wife, Eileen (nee Esch); daughter, Judith (Judy) wife of Paul Thomas of Waterloo; son, Jeremy (Jerry) of Cambridge; daughter-in-law, Patricia Weber of State College, Pa. Also survived by four grandsons, Duncan Weber of St. Louis, Mo., Alan Weber of Binghamton, N.Y., Sean and Cameron (Cam) Thomas of Waterloo. Mr. Weber was predeceased by one son, Dr. Jon Weber of State College and two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Ethel) Koch and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Buchner. Most of his working years were spent at the former Mutual Life Assurance Company, Waterloo. He served in the RCAF during the Second World War and upon returning to Mutual Life, he fulfilled the position of Assistant Secretary. He was the founding Committee Chairman of Stanley Park Baptist Church and an honorary deacon. At Earl's request there will be no visitation or flowers. A private graveside service was held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. A memorial service will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 2: 30 pm. Pastor Neville Cowan will be conducting both services. Friends and relatives may meet the family at the Ratz-Bechtel family centre following the service where refreshments will be served.

BUCHNER, M. Ruth - On Monday, July 11, 1983, at K-W Hospital, Ruth Buchner, age 74 years, of 273 Weber St. E., Kitchener. Born near New Hamburg, she was a very active member of Benton Street Baptist Church. Daughter of the late Noah and Margaret Weber; wife of Robert Buchner; mother of Marjorie (Mrs. William Ince) of Waterloo; Mary Ellen (Mrs. Albert Arndt) and Elizabeth (Mrs. Dale Ehnes), both of Kitchener; brother of Earl A. Weber of Kitchener and Lions Head. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one sister. Mrs. Buchner's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after 7 p.m. this evening. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel, Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. James Reese officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo.
