    THALER, Edna May (nee Siebert) - Passed away peacefully, at Pinehaven Nursing Home in Waterloo, on Thursday, January 29, 2004, at the age of 90 years. Edna Thaler of Pinehaven Nursing Home, formally of St. Jacobs and RR1, Breslau. Edna was predeceased by her beloved husband John in 1976. Loving mother of Bruce and his wife Marjorie of Bloomingdale, Herbert and his wife Helen of RR1, Breslau, Nancy and her husband Irvin Hollinger of Elmira. Proud and loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Edna is also survived by her sister-in-law Yetty Siebert and sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Bud Clair. Predeceased by her sisters Irene Snider and Elsie Siebert and brothers Clayton, Stanley and Lloyd Siebert. Edna was a longtime member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kitchener, where she was involved with the Quilter's Group. She loved spending time quilting and working in the garden. Friends are invited to share their memories of Edna with her family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Edna's life and faith will be held at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Benton Street in Kitchener on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 1 p.m., with Pastor Shirley Ruller officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Following the interment, friends are invited to join the family in the church hall for fellowship and refreshments. In Edna's memory, donations may be made to the Golden Hour at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church or the Gideons Bible Society and can be arranged through the funeral home - 745-8445 or www.edwardrgood.com
