Kropf.- Lavina Kipfer, died at her home, Waterloo, Ont., Feb. 22, 1972. She was married to Alvin Kropf, who survives. Also surviving are 4 sons (Ralph, Stanley, Eldon, and Delford), one daughter (Margaret-Mrs. Albert Henning), 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one brother (Herman), and 3 sisters (Mary-Mrs. Rudy Lichty, Ruby-Mrs. Norman Poole, and Irene-Mrs. Percy Schlueter). Funeral services were held at the Poole Mennonite Church Feb. 25. in charge of Amsey Martin; interment in the church cemetery.

MRS. ALVIN KROPF

Of 157 Dawson St., Waterloo, passed away suddenly Tuesday at her home, the former Lavina Kuepfer, dear wife of Alvin Kropf; mother of Ralph, of Route 1, Milverton; Stanley and Eldon, both of Kitchener, Delford of Waterloo, Margaret (Mrs. Albert Henning) of Stratford; sister of Herman of Millbank, Mary (Mrs. Rudy Lichty) of Wellesley, Ruby (Mrs. Norman Poole) of Milverton and Irene (Mrs. Percy Schleuter) of Stratford; also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; predeceased by three brothers.

Friends may call at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, until noon on Friday when removal will be made to the Poole Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2:30 p.m.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Rev. Amsey Martin officiating.

MRS. ALVIN KROPF

Mrs. Alvin Kropf, 72 , of Dawson St., Waterloo, died February 22 at her home.

Born in Mornington Township, October 26, 1899, she was the former Lavina Kipfer, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Kipfer.

She was a member of Poole Mennonite Church.

She is survived by her husband Alvin, four sons, Ralph, R.R. 1, Milverton; Stanley and Eldon of Kitchener and Delford of Waterloo; and one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Margaret) Henning of Stratford; one brother, Herman Kipfer, Millbank; three sisters, Mrs. Rudy (Mary) Lichty, Wellesley; Mrs. Norman (Ruby) Poole, Milverton; Mrs. Percy (Irene) Schleuter, Stratford; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was predceased by three brothers.

The body rested at the Futher Funeral Home Wellesley until Friday when removal was made to Poole Mennonite Church where services were conducted by Rev. Amsey Martin.

Pallbearers were William Kropf, Alfred Kipfer, Arthur Poole and Elmer Roes.

Margaret Rebecca Henning, age 95, formerly of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Mississauga Hospital on March 5, 2020. Born in Mornington Township, daughter of the late Alvin and Lavina (Kipfer) Kropf. Beloved wife of the late Albert Henning who predeceased her September 14, 1997. Loving mother of Carol Coddington (Robert) and Ken Henning (Francine). Grandmother of Robert Coddington (Allison), Cheryl Coddington - Neves (Marco), Angelyn Boyd (Ian), Derek Henning (Andrea). Great- grandmother of Katie, Sarah, Hailey, Avery, Danica and Vanessa. Also survived by a brother Ralph Kropf and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Stan Kropf (Jean), Eldon Kropf (Janet), Delford Kropf (Jean). Margaret was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Stratford and the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch #8, Stratford for over 60 years. Family and friends will be received at the W.G. Stanley Irvin Kropf, age 81, of McCarthy Rd., Stratford, passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, March 20, 2010. He was born in Milverton, and had lived in Kitchener and Mount Forest moving to Stratford in 1998. He was a member of Parkview United Church. Beloved husband of the late Jean (Chapman) Kropf whom he married October 21, 1953 in Waterloo and who predeceased him on December 3, 2009. Loving father of Linda, Yvonne, Connie, Gary, and Allan. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Margaret, Ralph and Delford. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Eldon Kropf. Kropf, Eldon - Mr. Eldon Donald Kropf, age 69, of Cedarcroft Place, 260 Church St., Stratford, passed away, peacefully, at his residence, on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000. He was born in Milverton, son of the late Alvin Kropf and the former Lavina Kipfer. He had been employed at McConnell Glass and late at AFG Glass in Stratford, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Army, Navy and Air Force, Unit 261, Stratford and the Stratford Cribbage League. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Jante May Heinbecker on August 9, 1995. He is survived by a son, Darren Kropf and his wife Christine and a daughter, Sharon Tough and her husband Donald, all of Stratford and grandchildren, MacKenzie Kropf, Shayna Kropf, Brad Tough, Jennifer Tough and Steven Tough; also survived by brothers, Ralph Kropf and his wife Esther of Wellesley, Stan Kropf and his wife Jean of Mount Forest and Delford Kropf of Kitchener and a sister, Marg Henning of Stratford. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Albert Henning. Friends and relatives may call at the W. G.
