    William A. Koch of 72 Allen St. E., Waterloo, died today at K-W Hospital. He was 82.

    Born in Wilmot Township, Mr. Koch lived in Waterloo for 40 years. He was active in the Waterloo Horticultural Society and served on the board for a number of years. Mr. Koch attended First Baptist Church Waterloo. His first wife, the former Isabella Kline, died in 1935, and his second wife, the former Bella Curtis, died in 1960. Also predeceasing him were his parents, Mr. and Mrs Henry Koch; two brothers and one sister.

    He is survived by two sons Walter of Waterloo and Allan of Saint John, N.B., two daugh ters, Grace at home and Mrs Lloyd (Marie) Hamel of Kitchener; a brother, Reuben of Baden and a sister, Mrs. Lilly Schmidt of Kitchener; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

    The funeral service will be conducted at the Edward R Good Funeral Home, Waterloo at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev R. E. Robinson of First Baptis Church officiating. Burial wil be in Riverside cemetery, New Hamburg.

    KOCH, Grace Beatrice June 22, 1920 - October 9, 2011 Grace passed away peacefully, encircled with love, on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre in Waterloo. Predeceased by her parents, William and Isabella (nee Kline) Koch; sister, Marie Hamel; and brother, Walter Koch. Cherished sister of Allan Koch. Very special aunt to Sheila (John) Biehl, Wayne (Ann) Koch, Nancy (David) Joslin, Mary Schram, Kathy (Scott) Beecroft, and 18 great-nieces and great-nephews. Grace was a longtime employee of Wilfrid Laurier University in food services and also a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Waterloo. She was an amazing cook and seamstress. Grace took pride in all she did. She will be fondly remembered for her kind, generous spirit and willingness to always help others. Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, October 11th (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to honour Grace's life and faith will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Snell officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church Missions or the Toronto Sick Kids Hospital Foundation (Infant Cardiac Unit) by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
