    Notes:

    The death occurred at Kitchener last Friday of Mr. Henry Livergood in his 71st year. The deceased has been in poor health for some time but his death came unexpected. The deceased was born in Waterloo County in 1860 and resided in Philipsburg and near New Dundee during his earlier years. He was engaged in farming and carpentry but five years ago retired from active life and took up residence in Kitchener. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife and by a family of four children, Messrs. Alvin, of New Dundee, Leander and Norman of New York City and by Miss Lavina Livergood at home. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. William Heideman, of Kitchener, Mrs. William Wilford, of Crosshill, and Mrs. Jacob Brunk, of New Dundee, and one brother, Mr. George Livergood, of Ratho. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon to St. Paul's Lutheran Church with interment in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery.

    Alvin Livergood

    Alvin Livergood passed away at the K.-W. Hospital Wednesday evening after a lengthy illness in his 42nd year. He was born in Philipsburg on Dec. 31, 1898, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Livergood. He farmed for many years near New Dundee and resided in Kitchener for the last three months. He is survived by two brothers, Louanda Livergood of New York City and Norman of New York City, one sister, Miss Lemina Livergood of Kitchener. The funeral will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m., from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home. Burial will be made in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. E. Orzen, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate.
