Friends and relatives of the district were grieved to learn of the death of Mr. Peter Wegfahrt who died on Christmas day. A paralytic stroke suffered the day before Christmas was the cause of his death. He was 61 years of age. He leaves to mourn his death a sorrowing wife, nee Annie Hammer, five children, one son and four daughters, namely, George, Mabel, Hilda, Christena and Marie.

WELLESLEY, Der. 27-Mr. Peter Wegfahrt died on Christmas Day. He was in fair health but on Wednesday complained of not feeling well and went to bed. Soon afterward be suffered a paralyte stroke and became unconscious. Rev. Stockman and Dr. Glaister were notified at once but had little hopes for him. He died on Thursday at 9 p.m. He was 61 years old. He leaves to mourn his death. his wife, daughter of George Hamer. and five children. The funeral will be held privately on Sunday after Boon, December 28 at two o'clock. Interment will take place at the Alles Lutheran Church. Rev. Stockman of Sebastopol will officiate.

BERG, Mable Passed away, Saturday, June 10, 1995, at People Care Centre, in Tavistock, formerly of North East Hope and Wellesley. She was born in Wilmot Township, 88 years ago.

She was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Wegfahrt. She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Dorothy (Mrs. Ross Campbell) of RR 2 Tavistock; two sisters, Hilda (Mrs. Edward Culliton) of Kitchener, Marie (Mrs. Bob Williams) of Kitchener; six grandchildren, Joyce Barclay, Janice Heyer, Brian Berg, Janet Roth, Judy and Terry Berg and by five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Ivan; by two daughters, Marie and Irene Barclay; one son-in-law, John Barclay; one brother, George Wegfahrt and one sister Christina Hall. Also predeceased by her husband, the late Allen Berg.

Visitation was held at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. W., Wellesley on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held today (Monday, June 12) at St. James Lutheran Church, North East Hope Township, at 2 p.m., Rev Judy William will officiate. Burial in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.

WEGFAHRT, George Adam - Peacefully, on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1987, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, George Wegfahrt, of 66 Brewery St., Baden.

He was born in Wilmot township 75 years ago, a son of the late Peter Wegfahrt and the former Anna Hammer. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg, and was retired from Kitchener Blower and Forge in 1976.

Beloved husband of the former Charlotte Laura Hoerle, whom he married March 31, 1937. Lovingly remembered by three daughters, Carolyn and her husband Frank Baranski of Kitchener, Marion and her husband Gary Schumm of Baden, Ruth and her husband Alfred Cleary of London, Ont. Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Berg of Wellesley, Mrs. Hilda Culliton of Waterloo, Dena (Mrs. William Hall) of Milverton and Marie (Mrs. Robert Williams) of Kitchen er. He was predeceased by one sister, Clara.

Visitation at the Mark Jutzi Funer al Home, 291 Huron St., New Ham burg, after 7 p.m. Thursday and until Saturday at noon, then transfer to Zion Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg. for the service at 2 p.m., with Rev. D. Kranz officiating. Spring interment in the church cemetery.
