    WELLESLEY - Mrs. Andrew Wilhelm, 81, of North Easthope Township died today at K-W Hospital after a brief illness.

    She was born in Wilmot township, May 2, 1883, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Paff. She was a member of Lisbon Evangelical United Brethren Church. For the past three years she has lived with her son, Oliver, in North Easthope Township. Before that she lived in Wellesley.

    She is survived by two sons, Cecil of RR 2, Petersburg, and Oliver of RR 1, Gadshill; two sisters, Mrs. Nathan (Margaret) Ratz of Baden and Olive Paff of Baden; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew, in 1949, and by one brother. The body will be at the Futher Brothers Funeral Home, Wellesley, after noon Wednesday. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

    William L. Paff - By Record Staff Writer - NEW HAMBURG - William L. Paff, 76, of 265 Peel St., New Hamburg, died at the wheel of his car here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Paff were driving home when Mr. Paff collapsed, apparently from a heart attack; Mrs. Paff managed to turn off the ignition and the car coasted into the high snow covered bank at the edge of Highway 7 and 8 at the outskirts of the village. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. T. C. Kirkpatrick. Mr. Paff was born in North Easthope Township. He retired from farming 18 years ago. He was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church and was a Sunday school teacher for a number of years. Surviving are his wife, the former Pearl Klein, whom he married in 1928, three sisters, Mrs. Emma Wilhelm of North Easthope; Mrs. Nathaniel (Margaret) Ratz and Olive Paff, both of Baden. The body will be at the Futher-Omand Funeral Home, New. Hamburg, until Wednesday when removal will be made to Zion EUB Church, where Rev. F. Paul Erb will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Temporary entombment will be in the Graff Memorial Chapel at Riverside Cemetery.

    Notes:

    Miss Clara Paff died today at the home of her brother-in-law, N. Ratz at Baden. She had been in failing health for a number of years but her passing came suddenly. She was born in Wilmot Township on Nov. 18, 1891 a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Paff. Surviving are a brother, W.I. Paff of Wellesley three sisters, Mrs. A.R. Wilhelm of Gadshill, Mrs. N. Ratz and Miss Olive Paff of Baden. The funeral service will be held from the home of her bother-in-law in Baden on Saturday at 2: 30 p.m. Burial will be made in Lisbon Evangelical Cemetery. Rev. C.R. Kauth[?] will officiate. Remains are resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 7: 30 p.m. tonight when the removal will be made to the home in Baden.
