    Kropf. - Sister Barbara Kropf was called to the great beyond, Oct. 2, 1922, aged 39 y. 14 d. She was a daughter of Joseph and Barbara Lichti. She accepted Christ in her youth and remained faithful to the end. In 1905 she united in marriage to Bro. David B. Kropf. They were blessed with 8 children, Reuben, Joseph, Pricilla, Phorica, Delton, Zeranius, Elmer, and Susanna (only 8 weeks old). Sister Barbara bore her sufferings patiently. Although her heart ached to leave her children, she expressed herself ready to be with Jesus. Death was caused by tuberculosis. She leaves father, mother, 6 sisters (Katie, Mrs. Joseph Wagler, Mrs. Nick Roth, Mrs. Joseph S. Roth, Mrs. Amos Kipfer, and Mrs. Zeranius Kipfer), and 2 brothers (Joseph and John). Funeral services were held at the St. Agatha Church in Ontario, on Oct. 4, conducted by Bros. Dan Yutzi and Michael Zehr. Text I Cor. 15: 58.

    Kropf, Reuben - At K-W Hospital, on Friday, Dec. 30, 1983, after a lengthy illness, Reuben Kropf, aged 77 years, of 631 Stirling Ave. S., Kitchener. He was employed by O. Wiles Construction for 13 years, until his retirement and was a member of the Rockway Senior Citizens. Father of David of Brantford and Mrs. Karen Hawkins of Kitchener; brother of Joseph Kropf of Hickson, Delton Kropf of Beachville, Seranus Kropf and Elmer Kropf, both of Tavistock, Priscilla Roth of Bright, Veronica Groff of Kitchener and Susanna Gow of Waterloo; step-brother of Monroe Kropf of Wellesley, Percy Kropf of Guelph, Eric Kropf, Pearl Roberts and Phyliss Long, all of Kitchener; grandfather of Sandra Stanley; great-grandfather of Melissa Stanley. Predeceased by his parents; his wife, the former Dorothy Hughes in 1978 and one brother. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, 2-4 Sunday , 2-4 and 7-9 on Monday. Funeral service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, Tuesday, 2 p.m., Rev. Grant MacDonald officiating. Internment Memory Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be shown by donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

    GROFF, Veronica - Peacefully, passed away with her family by her side, at Saugeen Valley Nursing Home, Mount Forest, on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Moses Groff (1991). Dear mother to son Stanley (Chris) of Mount Forest and to son-in-law Willard Lichty of Cambridge. Loving grandma of S. Wayne (Donna), Sheryl (Rick), Floyd (Brenda), Joanne (Glen), Michele (Darren), Linda (Tom), Barry (Brenda), Danny, Kevin (Laurie) and Brian (Michele) and to many great and great-great-grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Susanna, Pearl, Percy and Eric (Delores) and by her sisters-in-law Doris and Nelda. Predeceased by her parents David and Barbara (Lichty) Kropf, daughter Luanne and daughter-in-law Beatrice.     KROPF, ELMER DAVID

    Passed away peacefully, with his wife Nelda by his side, on Monday, July 25, 1994 at Stratford General Hospital, Elmer Kropf of Tavistock.

    He was born in Wellesley township 74 years ago, the son of the late David Kropf and Barbara Lichti.

    Loving husband of the former Nelda Yantzie, whom he married September 24, 1982.

    Dear father of Ron and his wife Mary of Tavistock, Ken and his wife Diane of Shakespeare, Bruce and his wife Charlene of RR 4, Stratford, Barry and his wife of RR 1, Shakespeare.

    He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Carole and her husband Paul Verschueren, Karen and her husband Brant Tinning, Angie, Alisa, Amanda, Jennifer, Darren, Julie, Leanne and Kevin Kropf.

    Also survived by his brothers, Delton and his wife Velma, Munroe and his wife Shirley, Percy and his wife Shirley, Eric and his wife Dolores; sisters, Priscilla Roth, Veronica Groff, Susanna and Stanley Barrett, Pearl Roberts and sister-in-law, Doris Kropf.

    Predeceased by his first wife, Eileen Steckly in 1980; step-mother, Nancy Leis; brothers, Reuben, Joseph, Seranus and Hilbert and by sister, Phyllis Long.

    Elmer was a member of the Tavistock Mennonite Church and had farmed in the area all his life until his retirement.

    Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home "Krug Chapel", 47 Woodstock St. S., Tavistock, this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

    Transfer will be made at noon on Thursday, July 28, 1994 to the Tavistock Mennonite Church for the service at 2:30 p.m., Pastor Darrell Toews officiating.

    Interment in East Zorra Mennonite Church Cemetery.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Tavistock Mennonite Church Building Fund , Habitat for Humanity or to the Canadian Bible Society, would be appreciated by the family.
