    Wagler.- Mary, daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Erb) Lichty, was born in Wilmot Twp., Ont., Mar. 25, 1887; died at the Kathleen Scott Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., July 15, 1972; aged 85 y. 3 m. 20 d. On Dec. 23, 1906, she was married to Joseph Wagler, who preceded her in death in 1965. Surviving are 2 sons (John and Alvin), 7 daughters (Idella, Mrs. Almeta Klassen, Barbara-Mrs. Emanuel Kuepfer, Nelda-Mrs. Harold Cressman, Mrs. Mary Brunk, Hilda-Mrs. Clinton Bechtel, and Eileen-Mrs. Aaron Horst), 45 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 4 sisters (Mrs. Leah Roth, Mrs. Lydia Roth, Mrs. Katie Kropf, and Lena-Mrs. Serenus Kipfer). She was preceded in death by one son (Harvey), 3 brothers, and 3 sisters. She was a member of Wellesley Mapleview Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held July 19, in charge of Alvin Leis and Jacob Roes; interment in adjoining cemetery.

    KLASSEN, Almeda

    Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, on Wednesday, March 20, 2002, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late John Klassen. Loving mother of Walter and his wife Judy, Elaine and her husband Robert Swartz, Elsie and her husband Willard Horst, Clifford and his wife Jean, Audrey Herlick and Marlene O'Brien and her husband Jim Illig. Dear sister of Mary Brunk, Eileen and her husband Aaron Horst, Hilda and her husband Clinton Bechtel, Nelda and her husband Harold Cressman and Alvin and his wife Miriam Wagler and family friend, Nora Shantz: cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by one grandson; two brothers and two sisters. Almeda was a longtime member of First Mennonite Church, where she was involved with Bon Accord and Ladies Aid. She was an avid gardener with a true love for growing flowers and food to help provide for the needs of her family. The family will receive friends at Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Langs Dr., Cambridge, today (Thursday) from 3-5 p.m. and at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m: Funeral service will be held at First Mennonite Church, 800 King St. E., Kitchener on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment Memory Gardens to follow.

    Suddenly, on Tuesday, June 27, 1995, at her residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Barbara Kuepfer, formerly of RR 1, St Agatha.
    She was born in Wilmot township 83 years ago, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lichti) Wagler. She was a member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church where she was a member of the WMSC. Barbara and Emanuel attended the former Waterloo Market and the Kitchener Market as vendors for a number of years.

    Beloved wife of Emanuel Kuepfer of Nithview Home whom she married, October 23, 1932. Loving mother of Levi and his wife Beatrice of New Hamburg, Mervin of Kitchener, Edgar and his wife Betty of Lacombe, Alta., Clare of RR 1, St. Agatha; ever remembered by 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Joe Wolf of Waterloo; a daughter-in-law, Karen Kuepfer of Waterloo. Dear sister of Alvin and his wife Miriam of RR 2, Atwood, Almeda (Mrs. John Klassen) of Cambridge, Nelda and her husband Harold Cressman of RR 1, St. Agatha, Mary (Mrs. David Brunk) of Brunner, Hilda and her husband Clinton Bechtel of Kitchener, Eileen and her husband Aaron Horst of RR 1, Elmira.
    Barbara was predeceased by a daughter, Loretta Wolf; two brothers, Harvey and John and one sister, Idella.

    Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, this evening (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Friday, June 30, 1995, transfer will be made to the St. Agatha Mennonite Church for the service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Emmanuel George and Chaplain Gerald Schwartzentruber officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Dear mother of David and his wife Eva Cressman of RR 1 Wellesley, Dorothy Cressman of RR 1 St. Agatha, James and his wife Marilyn Cressman RR 1 St. Agatha, Esther and Dave Bergen of Steinbach, MB, Floyd and his wife Norma Cressman of RR 1 Walkerton, Ron and his wife Sheila Cressman of Wellesley. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St. in Wellesley, where family and friends were received on Wednesday and Thursday. The funeral service was conducted at the Shantz Mennonite Church on Friday, January 17, 2003 at 2 p.m. Pastor Jim Loepp Thiessen officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Lovingly remembered by Nora Shantz and her sisters, Almeda (Mrs. John Klassen) and Hilda (Mrs. Clinton Bechtel), both of Kitchener, Barbara (Mrs. Emmanuel Kuepfer) of St. Agatha, Nelda (Mrs. Harold Cressman) of Wellesley,Mary (Mrs. David Brunk) of Gadshill and Eileen (Mrs. Aaron Horst) of Elmira, and by her brother Alvin Wagler of Atwood. Miss Wagler was predeceased by two brothers, Harvey and John. Friends may call at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener until noon on Sunday when removal will be made to First Mennonite Church for the funeral and committal service at 3 p.m. with Mr. Stanley Sauder and Rev. Elmer Schwartzentruber officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery on Monday. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Societyor the charity of one's choice may be made as expressions of sympathy.

Wally was the beloved husband of Judy (nee Wilson) Klassen. Loving father of Marjorie Snyder (Paul) of Hanover, Bonnie Dreher (Len) of Oxbow, Saskatchewan, Luann Hemming (Derek) of Kitchener, Carla Beros (Lloyd) of Lipton, Saskatchewan, Brad Bender (Trudy) of Ayr and Trevor Bender (Sarah) of Kitchener.Wally will be missed by 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Dear brother and brother-in-law of Elaine Swartz (Bob), Elsie Horst (Willard), Cliff Klassen (Jean), Audrey Herlick, Marlene O'Brien (Jim Ellig), Cindy Ertel (Rick) and Mary Ann Gingrich (Merle). Dear son-in-law of Ruth Wilson. Walter will be missed by many nieces and nephews and Charlie and Angel. His endearing smile, stories and ever present Tilley hat will be missed by all. Delton was born in Baden 44 years ago. He was the son of the late Harvey and Edna Wagler. He wasthe owner operator of the Del Wagler Construction Ltd.; he also had a great love for harness racing; he was the owner and trainer of many race horses; a member of the Ontario Harness Horseman's Association; also a member of the Wilmot Mennonite Church.     Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022, at Innisfree Hospice. He was born 89 years ago in Milverton, Ontario and is the son of the late Emanuel and Barbara (Wagler) Kuepfer.

    Reunited with his beloved wife, Beatrice Kuepfer. Loving father of Susan & late husband George Yates of New Hamburg, Rose & husband Ross Yantzi of Tavistock, Dennis & wife Sandy Kuepfer of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Roslyn (Matt) McLaren, Reid Yantzi and his friend Erin Wood, Stacey (Mark) Keller, Greg (Shelley) Kuepfer and also his 18 great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Edgar & wife Betty Kuepfer of Alberta, Clare & wife Cathy Kuepfer of Dobbington. Delores & husband Earlus Roth of Kitchener.

    He was predeceased by his son-in-law George Yates & in-laws Arthur and Melinda (Stere) Roth. Levi was also predeceased by his brother, Mervin Kuepfer and sister, Loretta & husband Joe Wolfe.

    Levi was a devoted member of the Cassel Mennonite Church. He took a passion in farming and was a dairy farmer his whole life. The family farm continues in its 5th generation to the family. He was a dedicated volunteer to the Mennonite Relief Sale and New Hamburg Thrift Store.

    Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Sunday April 10, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will take place Monday, April 11, 2022, at the 16th Line East Zorra Mennonite Church at 2p.m. with Pastor Wanda Roth Amstutz officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at East Zorra Mennonite Church Cemetery.
