Gingerich.- Allan, son of Mr, and Mrs. Jacob Z. Gingerich, was born in Wilmot Twp., Dec. 3, 1900; died suddenly at his home at Baden, Ont., June 24, 1972; aged 71 V, 6 m. 11 d. On Jan. 10, 1926, he was married to Mattie Erb, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Ralph), 2 daughters (Reta-Mrs. Anson Bender and Marjorie-Mrs. Kenneth Jantzi). and 9 grandchildren. He was a member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held June 26, in charge of Gerald Schwartzentruber, Allan Schwartzentruber, and Elmer Schwartzentruber; interment in St. Agatha Church Cemetery.

GINGERICH, ALLAN Passed away suddenly June 24, at his residence, 308 Snyders Rd., Baden, born 71 years ago in Wilmot Township, retired to Baden six years ago; member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church; son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Z. Gingerich; survived by his wife, the former Mattie Erb; also by one son, Ralph, Route 1, St. Agatha; two daughters, Reta (Mrs. Anson Bender)of Baden; Marjorie (Mrs. Kenneth Jantzi) of New Hamburg; two stepbrothers Rudolph of Waterloo and Joel Jantzi of Route 2, Baden; also nine grandchildren; predeceased by one brother and one step-brother. Will rest at the Bruce J. Omond Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, from 7 to 9 today and on Sunday. Memorial services will be held at the St. Agatha Mennonite Church on Monday at 2: 30. Interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Jerald Schwartzentruber and Rev. Elmer Schwartzentruber will officiate^.

JANTZI, Marjorie Peacefully at her home in New Hamburg, on Saturday, September 3, 2011 surrounded by her family, Marjorie who was born 68 years ago in Wilmot Township, a daughter of the late Allan and Magdalene (Erb) Gingerich. She was a member of Hillcrest Mennonite Church, New Hamburg where she was an active member of the WMSC and the food committee. Marjorie was an active participant in the apple fritter project for the Mennonite Relief Sale, a member of the Wilmot Horticultural Society, had been a leader of the 4-H Homemakers Club. Marjorie and Ken were members of the Guys and Dolls Square Dancing Club for 40 plus years. She enjoyed gardening and flowers as her hobbies. Beloved wife of Kenneth Jantzi whom she married February 10, 1962. Loving mother of Pat and Paul Luckhart of Baden, Sheila Jantzi of Serpent River, Bob and Sherri Jantzi of Tavistock, Peggy Sue Haskell of Guelph. Special Grandmother of Sam Luckhart and friend Ara, Chris Luckhart, Jon Medina and friend Sheena, Rosie Medina, James Nesbit, Phoebe Jantzi and friend Dean, Jarris Jantzi and friend Amanda, Lacey Jantzi, Cassidy Jantzi, Katie Haskell, Alissa Haskell. Dear sister of Reta and (Anson) predeceased Bender of Baden, Ralph and Louise Gingerich of RR#1 St. Agatha. Also remembered by mother-in-law MaryAnn Jantzi of Kitchener.
