    Roth, John K., son of the late Christian B. and Anna (Kuepfer) Roth, was born in Wilmot Twp., Ont., June 4, 1874, died at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, March 13, 1965; aged 90 y. 9 m. 9 d. On Nov. 28, 1897, he was married to Catherina Gingerich. Preceding him in death were his wife, one son, one grandchild, and 5 great-grandchildren. Surviving are 2 daughters (Mary - Mrs. Allen L. Leis and Anna - Mrs. Edmund Gingerich), 21 grandchildren, and 61 great-grandchildren. He wasa member of the St. Agatha Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held March 16, in charge of Gerald Schwartzentruber and Peter Nafziger.

    Roth.-Emanuel, only son of Bro. John K. and Katie Roth, of near Baden, Ont., died March 6, 1920, near St. Agatha; aged 2 y. 11 m. 26 d. He suffered from influenza and pneumonia for nearly two weeks. Funeral on March 9, 1920, from the old homestead near St. Agatha thence to the A. M. Church and cemetery for burial. Service conducted by Christian Gascho and Christian Litwiller. Texts, Psa. 103 and Mark 10: 13, 15. He leaves parents and two sisters (Mrs. Allen L. Leis and Anna).

    FOLEY-MCGREGOR, Marie - Mrs. L. Marie Foley-McGregor, age 84, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital, on Saturday, May 17, 2008. She was born in Wilmot Township, daughter of the late Allan and Mary Leis. Loving mother of Dennis Foley (Marilyn), Shakespeare. Devoted Nana of Steven Foley (Heather), Milverton, Shawn Foley (Sharon), Orr Lake, Stuart Foley (Kristin), London and to her five great-grandchildren, Seleena, Thomas, Cassie, Samantha and Maxwell. Also survived by six step-children, Dorothy Norris (Bill), Evelyn Lee (Les), Grace Holtz, Barbara Hartung, Donalda Horst, Donald Foley (Audrey) and their families. Several brothers and sisters and their families also survive. Marie was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas A. Foley (1979); by her second husband, Alastair MacGregor (1984) and by a step-son, Thomas H. Foley. Marie had worked at Sparr Plant producing parts for Mosquito Bombers during the Second World War, Federal Rubber and later Woodingford Lodge in Woodstock. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Stratford and past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Tavistock Legion. Marie volunteered with the House of Blessing, loved to quilt and cook and enjoyed baby sitting the neighbourhood kids for many years. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home , 430 Huron St. Stratford on Tuesday, May 20, (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Stratford on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Rev. Timothy Teuscher will officiate. Interment in Avondale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society through the funeral home. A special thank you to Marie's neighbours Larry and Colleen Brickman, Pat and Sally Lynch, Bonnie and the late Andy Anderson, Dave and Ruby Singer, Doug and Ann Gilchrist, Francis and Sharon Maloney who she considered her extended family.

    RAMER, Norma Norma (Gingerich) Ramer passed away peacefully from this life on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her home in Nithview Community. She was born in Zurich 89 years ago. Norma was predeceased by her husband Jonas (1987), her son Steven (2008), her grandson Konrad Jr. (2007) and great-granddaughter Carissa. Six children and their spouses survive: John (Lorraine), Ruth (Dave Fennell), David (Mary Kay), Edith (Konrad Spilles), Mary (David Haus), and Miriam (Ron Wettlaufer). Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one sister and 4 brothers and their families.     Passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the age of 42.

    Loving, devoted and proud father to Sam, and Charlene and her partner, Jeremy Moore. Steven shared a special bond with his precious granddaughter, Emma. Beloved son of Norma Ramer and the late Jonas Ramer. Much loved brother of John and Lorraine Ramer, Ruth Ramer and Dave Fennel, Dave and Mary Kay Ramer, Edith and Konrad Spilles, Mary and David Haus and Miriam and Ron Wettlaufer. Special uncle to 15 nieces and nephews. Will be sadly missed by his large extended family and many friends.

    Steven was the owner of STAT Office Systems, but his passion was his family. He was a devoted and caring single Dad of Sam and Charlene and was so proud of their achievements and of the fine young people they have grown to be. Steve loved a good joke and always, with a twinkle in his eye, was the practical joker in the family and enjoyed making people smile.

    Friends are invited to share their memories of Steven with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday (today) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Steven?s life will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Allan Rudy Froese officiating. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
