    Kropf, Mary Ann, daughter of Nicholas and Nancy (Herner) Lichty, was born at St. Agatha, Ont., Aug. 11, 1892; died at K. W. Hospital, Kitchener, Aug. 29, 1976; aged 84 y. On May 30, 1912, she was married to John Kropf, who preceded her in death in 1974. Surviving are 3 sons (Mervin, Clarence, and Elton), 5 daughters (Barbara - Mrs. Elmer Roth, Idella - Mrs. Alvin Leis, Janet - Mrs. George Rush, Bernetta - Mrs. Ralph Ruby, and Mary Ellen - Mrs. Stephen Gingerich), 39 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one brother (Herbert), and 4 sisters (Sarah - Mrs. Noah Boshart, Lavina - Mrs. Moses Bast, Barbara - Mrs. Henry Gerth, and Emma - Mrs. Lorne Martin). She was preceded in death by one son (Earl), one daughter (Irene - Mrs. Menno Albrecht), one brother and 2 sisters. She was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Sept. 1, in charge of Vernon Zehr and Jacob Roes; interment in adjoining cemetery.

    Kropf, Mrs. John - Of 18 Queen St. W., Wellesley, passed away Sunday, August 29 at K-W Hospital. She was the former Mary Ann Lichti; born in St. Agatha 84 years ago, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Lichti; beloved mother of Mervin of Route 3, Wellesley, Clarence of Kitchener, Elton of Fort St. John, B.C., Idella (Mrs. Alvin Leis) of Route 1, Wellesley, Barbara (Mrs. Elmer Roth) of Waterloo, Janet (Mrs. George Rush) of Kitchener, Bernetta (Mrs. Ralph Ruby) of Chatham, Mary Ellen (Mrs. Steven Gingerich) of Zurich; sister of Herbert Lichti of Kitchener, Sarah (Mrs. Noah Boshart) of Batavia, N.Y., Lavina (Mrs. Moses Bast) and Barbara (Mrs. Henry Gerth), both of Kitchener, Emma (Mrs. Lorne Martin) of Wellesley; also survived by 39 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Was predeceased by her husband, John in 1974; also by one son, Earl and one daughter, Irene; one brother and two sisters. Friends may call at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley after 7p.m.m this evening. At noon Wednesday, September 1, the remains will be removed to Maple View Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2: 30. Rev. Vernon Zehr and Rev. Jacob Roes will officiate. Internment will follow in the church cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be shown by contributions to the Western Ontario Mennonite Mission Board.

    Mrs. Menno Albrecht

    Wellesley - Mrs. Menno Albrecht of RR 2, Petersburg died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was 57. The former Irene Kropf, she was born in Wilmot Township, Sept. 25, 1912, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kropf. She was married in Wellesley Township Dec. 17, 1929. She was a member of the Rosebank Brethern in Christ Church. Surviving besides her husband and parents are three sons, Donald of RR 2, Petersburg, Edward of Brussels and David of Brunner; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Nancy) Hill of Kitchener, three brothers, Clarence of Kitchener, Mervin of Bamberg and Elton of Bloomingdale; five sisters, Mrs. Steven (Mary Ellen) Gingerich of Blake, Ont., Mrs. Elmer (Barbara) Roth of Waterloo, Mrs. Alvin (Idella) Leis of Wellesley, Mrs. George (Janet) Rush of Kitchener and Mrs. Ralph (Burnetta) Ruby of Chatham and nine grandchildren. The body will be at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home until Saturday when removal will be made to Rosebank Brethern in Christ Church for service at 2: 30 p.m., conducted by Rev. Wayne Schiedel. Burial will be in Rosebank cemetery.

    Kropf, Mervin L. - Peacefully, on Monday, Sept. 5, 1994, at Stratford General Hospital, Mervin Kropf, of Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton and formerly of RR 2, Wellesley. Mervin was born in Wilmot township 77 years ago. He was the son of the late John R. Kropf and the late Mary Ann Lichti. Mr. Kropf owned and operated a farm construction company at RR 3, Wellesley retiring in 1983. Mr. Kropf was a member of the Wellesley Mennonite Church. On Aug. 31, 1949, he was united in marriage to Selina Lichti. Surviving are his wife, one daughter (Rose Marie), 3 sons (James, Peter, and John), all at home, his parents of Wellesley, Ont.; 3 brothers (Mervin, Bamberg, Ont.; Clarence, Kitchener, Ont.; and Elton, New Dundee, Ont.), and 6 sisters (Irene-Mrs. Menno Albright, Petersburg, Ont.; Barbara - Mrs. Elmer Roth, Britton, Ont.; Idella - Mrs. Alvin Leis, Wellesley, Ont.; Janet - Mrs. George Rush, Kitchener, Ont.; Burnetta - Mrs. Ralph Ruby, London, Ont.; and Mary - Mrs. Steven Gingerich, Zurich, Ont.). He accepted Christ as his Saviour in youth and remained loyal to the end. Funeral services were held at the Riverdale Mennonite Church, Milbank, Ont., May 25, in charge of Menno Zehr and Orland Gingerich. Burial in the adjoining cemetery.

    Millbank - Earl Kropf, 38, of Millbank, died at Listowel Memorial Hospital early today.

    In ill health for six months, he had been in hospital for 10 days.

    Mr. Kropf, son of John Kropf and Mary Ann Lichti of Wellesley, was born near St. Agatha May 12, 1920.

    He married Selina Lichty of Millbank at Riverdale Mennonite Church, Aug. 31, 1949.

    Mr. and Mrs. Kropf lived in Wellesley for two years where Mr. Kropf operated a shoe repair shop.

    They moved to Millbank in 1951.

    Mr. Kropf was employed at the Hergott furniture plant in St. Clements.

    Surviving are his wife, his parents, three sons, James, 6, Peter, 5, and John, 2, one daughter, Rosemarie, 8; three brothers, Mervin of Bamberg, Clarence of Kitchener, and Elton of New Dundee and six sisters, Mrs. Menno (Irene) Albright, Petersburg; Mrs. Elmer (Barbara) Roth, Briton; Mrs. Alvin (Idella) Leis of Wellesley; Mrs. George (Janet) Rush, Kitchener; Mrs. Ralph (Burnetta) Ruby, London, and Mrs. Stephen (Mary Ellen) Gingerich, Zurich.

    The body is resting at the home in Millbank where a private funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. Public service will follow at Riverdale Mennonite Church at 2: 15. Internment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Menno Zehr and Rev. Orland Gingerich will officiate.

    JANET MARIE RUSH July 7, 1921 - November 15, 2006 Janet died peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Wednesday, November 15, 2006, at the age of 85 years. She is now in the presence of her Lord who she served faithfully through her life. She will be lovingly remembered by her dear husband George. As a loving mother, her memory will be cherished by her three children, John and his wife Wendy of Conestogo, Betty Anne and her husband Ken Behrns of Waterloo and David and his wife Melanie of Kitchener. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Heather, Sarah, Allison, Amy, Jennifer, Warren, Aaron, Nicholas and Emerald. Sister of Barbara Roth and Clarence and his wife Jean Kropf of Stratford, Elton and his wife Sylvia Kropf of Plattsville, Bernetta and her husband Ralph Ruby of Chatham, Mary Ellen and her husband Steve Gingrich of Zurich; sister-in-law of Selina Zehr of Milverton and remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary Anne (Lichti) and John Kropf and sisters and brothers, Irene Albrecht, Idella Leis, Mervin and Earl Kropf. Janet was a woman of strong faith who always put others ahead of herself. Friends are invited to share their memories of Janet with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Janet's life and faith will be held at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church, 3849 King Street East, Kitchener, on Monday, November 20, 2006, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Richard Kopanke officiating. Interment to follow in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. Following the committal service at the cemetery, friends and relatives are invited to return to Faith Evangelical Missionary Church for refreshments and a time to visit with the family.     Kropf, Rose Marie - Suddenly, on Monday, Jan. 6, 1992, at her home, 135 Brunswick St., Stratford, formerly of Wellesley. Rose Marie was born in Kitchener 41 years ago, a daughter of the late Earl Kropf and is lovingly remembered by her mother, Selina Lichty (Zehr) of Milverton. She was a member of the Milverton Conservative Mennonite Church and was employed with the Festival City Nursery. Survived by three brothers, James Kropf of Sudbury, John Kropf of Kitchener and Peter and his wife Judy Kropf of Parry Sound. Lovingly remembered by her sister, Ruth Ann and her husband Larry Striecher of Tara. Also survived by three step-brothers and one step-sister. She also leaves a number of precious friends in the Stratford and district area and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a step-father, Jonas Zehr. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends today (Wednesday), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 8: 30 a.m. Thursday removal will be made to Milverton Conservative Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 10 a.m. Rev. Ralph Gerber and Rev. Dan Gascho will officiate. Internment will follow in Bethel Conservative Mennonite cemetery, Millbank. Memorials to the Stratford Association of Community Living or to the Guatemala Missions would be appreciated by the family for the late Rose Marie Kropf.

    Son of Selina Zehr & Earl Kropf (predeceased). Loving husband of Carrie, and predeceased by his first wife Elaine (2003). Much loved father of Dennis (Connie), Ruthanne MacDonald (Blair) and Beth Howe (Rick), and step father of Melissa (Shawn), Matthew, Tammy (Guy), Danny (Risa) and Jamie. Survived by his brothers Peter (Judy) and John and by his sister Ruth-Ann (Mike), predeceased by his sister Rose Marie. Dear brother in law of David (Denise), John, Mary-Anne (Larry) and Brian (Earla). Cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jim was a transport driver for 30 years, working with Bison for the last 14. You could always find him in his shed where he loved working on his quad and beloved 1939 tractor. He was a devoted member to the Sudbury Moose Lodge #230 for 20 years. He loved spending time with his family, hosting barbecues and entertaining. He was loved by everyone he met and will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral Service in the R.J.
