    Mrs. Gladys Mank

    Mrs. Gladys Mank, 60, died Saturday in Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Wilmot Township, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dilman Wismer. She had lived in Kitchener for 25 years and was a member of the Reformed Mennonite Church near New Hamburg. Her husband, Lorne H. Mank, whom she married in Kitchener in 1923, died in 1947.

    Surviving are one son, Marvin of Kitchener; one daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Dorine) Kesselring of Kitchener and three brothers, Norval Wismer of Battle Creek, Mich., Harold of New Hamburg and Melvin of Kitchener. There are two grandchildren. One brother and one sister predeceased her.

    The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon with service at the Reformed Mennonite Church, Wilmot and interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Aaron Yost conducted the service.

    MANK, Mrs. Gladys

    Mrs. Glady Mank, 60, of 239 Belleview Ave., died today in K-W Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Wilmot Township, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dilman Wismer. She had lived in Kitchener for 25 years and was a member of the Reformed Mennonite Church, New Hamburg.

    Her husband, Lorne H. Mank, whom she married in Kitchener in 1923, died in 1947.
    Surviving are one son, Marvin of Kitchener; one daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Dorine) Kesselring of Kitchener; and three brothers, Norval Wismer of Battle Creek, Mich., Harold of New Hamburg and Melvin of Kitchener. There are two grandchildren. One brother and one sister predeceased her.

    The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will be conducted at the Reformed Mennonite Church, New Hamburg at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. Aaron D Yost. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.

Lorne (son of Louis Mank and Catherine Henning) was born 6 Sep 1895, Milverton, Mornington Twp., Perth Co., Ontario; died 18 Jan 1947, Kitchener, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; was buried , New Hamburg Reformed Menn.
