Daniel Graeb lived on the River Road and delivered in Town; around 1896 he opened a butcher shop in what is now Phin's Toy Shop. Thomas Bedford and Thomas Hutchison bought his business and at the same time bought also the business being then carried on by A. W. Leybourne on Adam Street where Alf. Ryan is now. Thereupon Mr. Leybourne who had formerly been employed in Graeb's shop took charge on behalf of Bedford and Hutchison.
