MRS. ELIZABETH WINGFIELD

Mrs. Elizabeth Wingfield. 75 Brock St. passed away yesterday at the K.W. Hospital at the age of 81, following a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 5, 1863 at Mosboro, to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Bigbie. A former resident of Hespeler, she was an active worker in the Baptist Church, which was organized at the home of Mrs. Wingfield and her husband, the late William Wingfield, who died three years ago. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Earl V. (Florence) Gilders of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Currie of Guelph; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral service will be held from the Ratz-Bechtel funeral home Tuesday at two o'clock. Burial will be made at the Hespeler Cemetery. Rev. J. C. Williamson of Preston will be in charge of the service, assisted by Rev. G. L. Stover of Kitchener. The remains are resting at the funeral home.

In hospital at London, on Tuesday evening, December 11, 1951, in her 82^nd year. Widow of Donald Currie, who predeceased her some seventeen years ago. A resident of Hespeler and district most of her life, Mrs. Currie was born in Guelph Township. She attended the Baptist Church in Hespeler. No immediate family survive. Service at the Stager-Russ Funeral Home, Galt St. in Hespeler on Fri., Dec. 14 at 2. Interment Hespeler Cemetery.

Mrs. Earl V. Gliders

Mrs. Earl V. Gliders of 82 Onward Ave., died Thursday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. She was 76. The former Florence Wingfield, she was born June 10, 1891, in Hespeler, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Wingfield. Mrs. Gliders was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and the Women's Missionary Society of the church. She was predeceased by her husband to whom she was married on Sept. 8, 1915 in Hespeler, on March 17, 1965. Surviving are one son, Ross, Winterbourne; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Jean) Kropf, Kitchener; five grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Saturday until noon Monday. When removal will be made to Bethel Baptist Church for the service at 3 p.m. Rev. F. B. Davison will officiate. Burial will be in Hespeler cemetery.
