    Floradale
    Mr. and Mrs. Levi Bauman, who live about a mile north of Floradale suffered the loss of an infant daughter aged about 20 days. The remains were taken to the Evangelical Cemetery followed by a large cortege of relatives and neighbors. Rev. Burns of Elmira, conducted the funeral services. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved parents.

    MARGARET KORELL 1910 - 2009 Passed away peacefully, at Trinity Village Care Centre, Kitchener on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the age of 98 years. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold in 1996 and her son, Stanley in 2006. She will remain forever in the hearts of her children, Mary (Orvil) Hasenpflug of Mannheim, Lillian (James) Heinisch of Guelph, Stewart (Christene) Korell of Belleville and her daughter-in-law, Renee Korell of Waterloo. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lynn (Gord) Perrin, William (Deb) Hasenpflug, Robert Hasenpflug, Gwen (Don) Troutner, Karen (Al) Deutscher, Charles (Anita) Heinisch, Danny (Kelly) Heinisch, Sharon (Jim) Van Hemmen, Ursula Heinisch, Pattie (Alan) Fries, Bryan Korell and David Korell as well as 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Margaret was born in Woolwich Township to Levi and Elizabeth Bowman on October 11, 1910. She is the last surviving family member of nine siblings. Margaret was very involved with Redeemer Lutheran Church for many years and will be remembered for her love of crocheting and quilting. Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 78 John Street West, Waterloo on Wednesday, March 4 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Krestick officiating. A reception will follow. Interment will take place following the reception at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family and donations to the Redeemer Lutheran Church or Trinity Village Care Centre Gathering Place Fund may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445. In living memory of Margaret, a donation will be made to the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.

    BAUMAN, Evelyn (Bowman)-Passed away, peacefully, to be with her precious Lord, on Sunday, July 26, 1998, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 85th year. Daughter of the late Levi and Elizabeth (Neuert) Bowman.

    A loving Mother of four sons, Clare and Janet of Cambridge, Kenneth and Joanne of Cottam, David and Maureen of Golden Lake and James and Margaret of St. Jacobs. A dear Grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A special friend to sister, Margaret (Mrs. Harold Korell) of Waterloo. Also surviving are her brother and sisters-in-law, Earl and Ruby Bauman and Ruby Bauman, all of Elmira.

    Her strength through the years lay in Jesus for she was predeceased by her husband, Walter Bauman, on August 12, 1943. Also predeceased by one grandson, six brothers and four sisters.

    Her life was her witness-her smile, her laugh, her visits, her prayers, and yes-her tears. She was "Ma Bauman" to hundreds of students at the Elmira District High School for 25 years.

    Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home in Elmira on Tuesday, July 28 1998 (today) between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. There will be a private family service in the chapel of the funeral home. The family welcomes friends and acquaintances to a Celebration of Her Life at Calvary United Church, St. Jacobs on Wednesday, July 29, 1998 at 3 p.m. Rev. Brian Robinson officiating.

    WEAVER, Roy E. Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday, June 4, 2012, age 78 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marjorie (Karn 1992), his parents Wesley and Viletta (Bowman) Weaver, brothers Withrow and Ira, and sisters Irene Martin and Ruby Weaver. Sadly missed by sisters Ruth (Eli) Burkhart of Floradale, Reta (Frank) Weber of Elmira, sister-in-law Stella Weaver of Listowel, and his cherished friend of many years, Marie Fleet and family. Survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Roy retired from B.F. Goodrich and Epton Industries. He was an avid fisherman, an active member of Rockway Seniors Centre playing shuffle board and cribbage, and enjoyed swimming and walking. A memorial service to celebrate Roy's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, June 7th at 2 p.m. A family burial will precede the service.     HASENPFLUG, Robert George 1957 - 2013 After a courageous battle with leukemia, Bob passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, age 55. Beloved son of Mary (nee Korell) and the late Orvil Hasenpflug. Brother of Lynn (Gordon) Perrin, Bill (Debbie) Hasenpflug, Gwen (Don) Troutner and Karen (Alan) Deutscher. Bob will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, great- nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Bob is predeceased by his father Orvil and best friend Larry Eli. Bob graduated from Waterloo Oxford District Secondary School where he played football. Bob then worked for J.M. Schneiders for 35 years and was a longtime member of the Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club. An avid trap and skeet shooting enthusiast, as well as a hunter and fisherman, Bob had a true passion for the outdoors. Bob enjoyed gatherings with family and friends, especially the music at the family "hootenannies". A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held at the Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club, 1229 Beitz Rd., Breslau, on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 2 p.m. followed by a reception at the club. Cremation will have taken place. Thank you to the staff at Grand River Hospital Kitchener-Waterloo site and the Juravinski Hospital for their excellent care of our son, brother, uncle and friend.
