    MOSES BRUBACHER

    Mr. Moses Brubacher of RR 1, Waterloo, age 73, died suddenly at his late residence on Tuesday, September 15, 1959. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Moses Brubacher Sr., was born in Woolwich township, July 21, 1886.

    Surviving are his wife the former Leavea Frey, three sons, Christian of Wallenstein, Gleason of RR 3, Waterloo, Sidney of RR 1, Waterloo. Two daughters, Mrs. Sidney (Melvina) Weber, R.R 2, West Montrose, Mrs. Moses (Elmeda) Weber RR 3, Elmira, Four brothers, Henry of RR 1 St. Jacobs, Levi of Elmira, Israel of St. Jacobs, Menno of Elmira. Two sisters, Mrs. Simeon Martin of Conestogo, Mrs. Ezra Martin of RR 1 St. Jacobs. Also 13 grand-children survive.

    Remains at the Dreisinger funeral parlour until Thursday afternoon when removal will be made to the residence for funeral service Friday morning at 8:30 standard time, thence to Conestogo Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.

    BRUBACHER, Cleason F. - Peacefully on Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Countryview Retirement Residence. Cleason Brubacher in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Sarah (Martin) Brubacher (1996). Dear father and father-in-law of Mrs. Fern Brubacher of RR 1, Elmira, Esther and Earl Diefenbacher of RR 1, Alma, Salema. and Orvie Bauman of RR 2, Ariss, Sidney and Vera Brubacher of RR 2, Drayton, Mary and Alvin Knarr of RR 1, Elmira. Also survived by 25 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Adeline Brubacher. Predeceased by his parents, Moses and Leavea (Frey) Brubacher; one son Orvie (1986); four children in infancy; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Christian and Sidney; and three sisters, Susannah, Melvina and Elmeda. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira today (Tuesday) from 2-5 and 6: 30-9 p.m. where a family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday (morning), October 10, 2007 at 9 a.m. then to the North Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.

    Melvin B. Weber 1942 - 2019

    Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the age of 76 years. Melvin Weber of Elmira was the beloved husband of Ruth (Bauman) Weber for 55 years. Dear father of Linda (Derek) Martin of London, Rod (Cindy) Weber of West Montrose, and Brenda (Trevor) Stich of North Vancouver. Loved grandfather of Rachel, Caelan, Victoria, Micah, Abby, and Sarah. Lovingly remembered by the Bauman family. Survived by siblings Aden (Aleda) of St. Jacobs, Almeda (Alson) Frey of Elmira, and Eileen (Don) Weins of Elmira. Predeceased by his parents Sidney and Melvina (Brubacher) Weber. Melvin had a love and passion for his family, his church family (LifeSpring Christian Fellowship) and his community. He lived and worked on the family farm in the West Montrose area for all of his life. He was also a bus driver and a community driver for his Old Order friends. His quick humour and smile will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will take place on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Interment in Elmira Union Cemetery will take place on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. at Woodside Bible Fellowship, 200 Barnswallow Dr., Elmira. A reception will follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Ray of Hope, International Teams Canada, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.

    It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Cleason "Clem" Weber at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Audrey for 53 wonderful years. Proud and loving father of Paul Weber of Vienna and Stephanie Weber of Kitchener. Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Todd, William and great-granddaughter Freya. Dear brother of Edna (Newton) Diefenbacher, Wilma (John) Campbell, Dianna (Hugh) Weltz, Wendy (Tim) Topel and John (Krista) van Breda. Clem is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Moses Weber and Elmeda (Brubacher) Weber (Ray Waters), brother Edgar Weber and parents-in-law Bill and Audrey van Breda. Family and friends will be received at Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., all guests are required to register for visitation on the funeral home website or by calling the Funeral Home. All guests must wear masks and remain socially distant. Guests are asked not to attend if they are ill or under isolation. The Funeral Service for Clem will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 60 Young Street, Tillsonburg on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Schallhorn officiating. All guests must wear masks and remain socially distant. Interment will follow at the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
