    BRUBACHER, Melvin M. - Peacefully, on Friday, March 7, 2008, at his home, RR 1, St. Clements, Melvin M. Brubacher, in his 90th year. Father of Harvey and Viola Brubacher of RR 1, Wallenstein, Salome and Noah Brubacher of RR 3, Wallenstein, Elmer and Mary Brubacher of RR 2, Drayton. Step-father of Elam and Nancy Martin of RR 1, Mount Forest, Lizzie and Allan Wideman of RR 1, St. Clements, Martha and Aaron Jantzi of Milverton, Mary and Edgar Brubacher of RR 3, Harriston. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 22 step-grandchildren and 22 step-great-grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; one step-brother and one step-sister. Predeceased by his first wife, Leah Martin (1995); his second wife, Mary Ann Martin (2005); his parents, Israel and Mary Brubacher; his step-mother, Magdalena Reist; three sisters and two step-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the home of Allan Wideman, RR 1, St. Clements on Saturday, March 8 (today) from 1-5 p.m. Transfer will then be made to the home of Noah Brubacher, RR 3, Wallenstein for visitation on Sunday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Monday morning at 9 a.m. then to the South Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira.

Dear mother of Mary and Harvey Horst of RR 2,Wallenstein, Eileen and Amsey Metzger of RR 1, Wallenstein, Lena and Abner Frey of RR1,Elora, Velina and Emanuel Brubacher of RR 3, Wallenstein, Phares and Reta Eby of RR 2,Drayton, Orlan of Cobble Hill, B.C., Hannah and Clifford Metzger of RR 2, Drayton, Enosand Erla Eby and Viola and Clarence Metzger, both of RR 2, Wallenstein.Also survived by 55 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren; sister of Melvin, Edwinand Clayton Brubacher, Elsie and Menno Rudy, Seleda and Ephriam Martin and Alice andNoah Weber; step-sister of Lovina (Mrs. Eli Martin), Alvin Bauman and Sarah Vale. Predeceased by her husband, Adon Eby (1993); one daughter, Alice; her parents, Isreal and Mary Brubacher; her step-mother, Magdalena Bauman; two sisters, Elvina and Viola and four grandchildren.Friends may call at her home (Emanuel Brubacher's) after 6: 30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21and Friday, Dec. 22. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 9 a.m. then to South Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial.
