    Notes:

    Lebold-Mary, third daughter of Jacob M. and Maria (Ruby) Bender, was born in Oxford Co., Ont., Sept. 24, 1871; died at her home in the same township on Feb. 6, 1926; aged 54 y. 4 m. 13 d. In her maiden days she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized and received into church fellowship by her father, the late Bishop Jacob M. Bender, and was a faithful sister till she was called to her reward. On Nov. 30, 1897, she was joined in holy wedlock to John Lebold of Waterloo Co., Ont. This union was blessed with 1 son (Norman) and 3 daughters (Mary, Barbara, and Lucinda), all at home. On March 14, 1919, her husband was called to the great beyond. She leaves 1 son, 3 daughters, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters. Her death was caused by cancer, which she bore in Christian patience and fortitude. She had a hearty desire to be with her Savior, commending her dear children to the heavenly Father's care. She was laid to rest by the side of her husband in the East Zorra A.M. Cemetery on Feb. 9, when services were conducted Bros. Peter Litwiller of Baden (text, II Tim. 4: 6-8). D.H. Steinman of Baden (text, Tit. 2: 11-14), and D.S. Jutzi of Tavistock (text, Jno. 14: 18). A brother.

    Hunsberger, Mary, daughter of John and Mary (Bender) Lebold, was born at Tavistock, Ont., Nov. 26, 1899; died at Kitchener, Ont., May 27, 1974; aged 74 y. She was married to Moses Hunsberger, who preceded her in death on Mar. 4, 1953. Surviving are 2 sons (Leonard and Mahlon), 2 daughters (Mary Alice - Mrs. Gary Brown and Anna Mae - Mrs. Jack Langstone), 6 grandchildren, and 2 sisters (Lucinda - Nrs. Milton Boshart and Barbara - Mrs. Aaron Gascho). She was a member of the Erb Street Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on May 30, in charge of Galen Johns; interment in the Erb Street Mennonite Cemetery.

    HUNSBERGER, Mrs. Moses
    At the K-W Hospital, on Monday, May 27, 1974, after a brief illness, Mary Lebold, formerly of Bridgeport, age 75 years, a member of the Erb Street Mennonite Church, a resident of the area all her life, member of the sewing circle of the church; mother of Leonard and Mahlon, both of Kitchener, Mrs. Gary (Mary Alice) Brown of Petrolia, Mrs. Jack (Anna Mae) Langstone of Auckland, N.Z.; sister of Mrs. Milton (Lucinda) Bushart and Mrs. Aaron (Barbara) Gascho, both of St. Agatha; six grandchildren also survive; predeceased by her husband and one brother.

    Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener, until noon on Thursday when removal to the Erb Street Mennonite Church will take place. Funeral and committal service will be held in the church at 3 p.m. with Rev. Galen Johns officiating. Interment in the Erb Street Mennonite cemetery. Donations to Gideon Bibles may be made as expressions of sympathy.

On Nov. 9, 1930, she was married to Aaron Gascho, who died on Dec. 7, 1976. Surviving are 2 sons (Lyle and David), 3 daughters (Elaine-Mrs. Mervyn Thomas, Thelma-Mrs. Lee Doer, and Geraldine Gascho), 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Lucinda-Mrs. Milton Boshart).     At her residence, on Friday, Aug 16, 1985, Barbara (Lebold) Gascho, of Homewood Avenue Kitchener, a resident of St. Agatha for over 43 years.

    Loving wife of the late Aaron Gascho, who predeceased her in 1976; dear mother of Lyle and his wife Sandra of Wellesley, David and his wife Agnes of Calgary, Alta., Elaine (Mrs. Mervyn Thomas), Thelma (Mrs. Lee Doerr) and Geraldine Gascho, all of Kitchener. Also survived by one sister, Lucinda (Mrs. Milton Boshart) of Baden. Thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, one brother and one sister.

    A member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church and the WMSC.

    Norman Lebold

    Norman Lebold of Baden died on Wednesday of last week at the age of 59.

    Mr. Lebold was born in East Zorra Township Aug. 5, 1910, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lebold. He had lived in Baden for 27 years and was employed by Clemmer Industries Ltd of Waterloo as a welder.

    He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Baden, and of the Canadian Order of Foresters.

    Surviving are his wife, the former Clara Zehr; one son, Keith of Baden; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Belva) Priebe of Aurora and Norma at home; three sisters, Mrs. Moses (Mary) Hunsburger of Bridgeport, Mrs. Aaron (Barbara) Gascho and Mrs. Milton (Lucinda) Boschart, both of St. Agatha, and four grandchildren.

    He was predeceased by one son in 1967.

    Funeral service was held Saturday at St. James' Lutheran church, Baden, Rev Ernest Felker officiating.

    Temporary entombment took place in Riverside cemetery, New Hamburg.

    The Bruce J. Omand Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

    MAHLON HUNSBERGER 1936 - 2009 Mahlon died peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener, on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Haas) for 49 years. Loving father of Tim (Angela), Jeff and Holly Andres (John). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Joshua, Jeremy, Jordan, George, Koulie, Katie and William. Brother of Anna Mae Langstone (Jack); brotherin- law of Patricia Hunsberger, Sharron St. Louis (Ron) and Jean Ruppel (Ross). Uncle of Laurie, Dan (Aileen), Heidi Langstone, Kirsten Langstone Lowe (Chris); Great-Uncle to Becky Lloyd (Adam), Derek (Bethany), Sofia Langstone and Great-Great-Uncle of Coen Lloyd. He was predeceased by his parents Moses and Mary (Lebold) Hunsberger; brother Leonard; sister Mary Alice, nephew Jason and great- nephew Dean. Mahlon was retired from Koch Transport where he worked for 40 years. He was a member of Bridgeport United Church and a former member of the Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club. Friends are invited to share their memories of Mahlon with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bridgeport United Church on Sunday, December 22, 2009, at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Immediately following the service, friends and relatives are invited to remain at the church for refreshments and a time to visit with the family.     GASCHO, Lyle John Passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener surrounded by his family. Lyle resided in Kitchener and was formerly of Wellesley. He was born 81 years ago in Wellesley Township and was the son of the late Aaron and Barbara (Lebold) Gascho. Beloved husband of Sandra (Schaaf) Gascho who he married July 8, 1961. Loving father of Debbie Heyer and friend Jeff of Waterloo, Brian and Lisa Gascho of Kitchener and Anita Bender of Waterloo. Dear grandfather of Stacy and Mark Weber, Marsha and Jason Holst, Nathan Gascho, Jordan Bender. Remembered by his sisters Elaine Thomas, Geraldine Gascho both of Kitchener, brother David and Agnes Gascho of Calgary, Alberta and a number of nieces and nephews. Lyle was predeceased by son-in-law Donald Heyer, sister Thelma and Lee Doerr and brother-in-law Mervyn Thomas. Lyle was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley where he had been a trustee and operated the elevator and was involved with the construction of the new addition in 1992. He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed woodworking, construction and was happy to pass his knowledge on to others. His evenings were spent watching Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy after the news. Lyle and Sandy enjoyed many years of traveling Canada and the United States in their motorhome. Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 24, at 11:00 a.m. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley with Pastor Andy Schroth officiating.
