MRS. LEANDER WESTFALL (ALVINA)

At the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, on Friday, August 20, 1976, after a brief illness, Aovina Maria Israel of 56 Louisa St., Kitchener, age 85 years,

Mrs. Westfall was born in Floradale, a daughter of the late John Israel and the former Anna Knarr; a lifelong resident of the Twin City area and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leander in 1967, by two brothers, Charles and John and a sister , Emma (Mrs. Wesley Mewhiney).

Surviving are her son, and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Hazel Westfall of Kitchener; a brother, George Israel of Kitchener, and her grandchildren, David of Kitchener and Sandra (Mrs. James Hill) of Stoney Creek.

Friends may call a the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. tonight until noon on Monday when removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Queen Street South, for the funeral and committal service at 3 p.m., with Rev John Korcok officiating.

Interment Memory Gardens.

Donations to the Concordia Seminary - Ontario - building fund may be made as expressions of sympathy.
