COURSEY, John 'Jack' Patrick - Korean Veteran 3 PPCLI Passed into God's care in his 79th year at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Loving husband and soulmate for over 5 years of Elaine Martin. Devoted father to Shirley Ann and Dave Godward, Michael Coursey and Michelle Finch-Coursey. Proud grandfather of Andrew and Thomas Godward and Spencer and Pierce Finch-Coursey. Also survived by Karen, Kathleen and Jessica and step-sisters Patsie and Dianne. Predeceased by his mother Katherine Devlin, father William Coursey and brother Billy (1937). Will also be missed by a large extended family and many friends. After Jack's retirement from CGE and Honeywell in 1990, his love of genealogy gave him many special friendships worldwide. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus. His family would like to thank Jack's family physician, Dr. Doug Jang and the staff of Markham Stouffville Hospital (3C & ICU), who treated him with dignity and respect. He will be missed by many. Resting at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave., Markham (4 lights north of Hwy. 7), 905-305-8508, on Sunday, February 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Justin Martyr Church, 3898 Hwy. 7, Markham on Monday, March 1st at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
