Haysville - The funeral of Ruth Loreen Shantz, the infant daughter and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Leighton Shantz was held on Saturday afternoon with a private service at the home of her parents, thence to the Evangelical church at New Hamburg where a public service was conducted by Rev. A. E. Pletch. The pallbearers were four girls, Grace Wolfe, Grace Snider, Olive Hostetler and Esther Ingold. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Shantz have the sympathy of the entire community.
