    Mrs. Henry J. Wilker

    The death of Mrs. Henry J. Wilker, Waterloo St., occurred in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, early Monday morning, after an illness of two months. Mrs. Wilker, who before her marriage was Lydia Jane Facey, was born in East Zorra, on Aug. 11, 1888, a daughter of Mrs. Robert Facey of Tavistock and the late Mr. Facey. On Nov. 11, 1914, she was married to Henry J. Wilker and they resided on a farm in Blandford township. She and her husband moved to New Hamburg about twenty-five years ago. They returned to their farm for about four years, taking up residence again in New Hamburg, only last fall. The late Mrs. Wilker was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church here. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Robert, Bright; Walter, Forest; Edward, Tavistock; two brothers, John Facey, Bright and William Facey, Tavistock; one sister, Mrs. Laura Sippel of Tavistock, and two grandchildren. A daughter, Laura Marie, predeceased her. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon, with a private service at the house, followed by public service at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Rev. H. Voege, pastor, officiating. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.

    WILKER, Ruby Marion - Of 67 St. David Street, Stratford, passed away at her residence, on her 76th birthday, Tuesday, January 20,2004. Born in Poole, she was the daughter of the late William Fetter and the former Agnes Bender. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Stratford. Ruby received immense enjoyment from playing many different card games. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Henry Wilker. Dear mother of Fred Wilker and wife Kathy of Chatham. Dear grandmother of Mike and Michelle Wilker. Dear sister of Dorothy Jacobs and husband Hemel (Sam) of Waterloo. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Inez Voll and husband Arnold of Waterloo and Betty Fetter of Milverton and several nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Roy, Edward, John and Percy Fetter. Relatives and friends will be received at the Heinbuck Funeral Home, 156 Albert Street, Stratford on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 115 Cambria Street, Stratford on Friday, January 23,2004 at 1 p.m. Rev. Timothy Teuscher will officiate. Interment will be in Avondale Cemetery, Stratford.
